Our home was built in the 1850,s and is a two story flat top with a very plain front entrance. We placed each topiary on either side of the double door front entrance and the transformation is incredible. It is exactly the look I wanted, stately and elegant. We placed them in old concrete urns and they are heavy enough to withstand gusty winds and heavy rain. The wooden connection between each ball of greenery makes them look completely natural even when standing close to them. We took them out of their boxes, placed them in their urns and that was it. No tweaking, no replacing parts and pieces that fell off and were in the bottom of their boxes because there was none. They are perfect right out of the box. These two topiaries were just what I wanted to co-ordinate with two smaller topiaries by my front door. They were easy to assemble, the perfect size, and I had very few unattached leaf clusters. I was very happy and ready to give them 5 stars. Then I noticed the fading--after less than 3 months in place! One can easily see the color difference between the two types of topiaries. While they do get afternoon sun, the shorter ones clearly have better UV protection. I think these are too pricy for the quality. So, unless you have a covered, shady area for them, my experience has not been good. ... show more

I have these at my front door and they get partial Sun but are sheltered from rain. Hopefully they will hold up. They are the best looking artificial topiaries I have seen.

These are Beautiful and well made. I felt like they are pricey and really more than I actually wanted to pay but then again they seem to be expensive everywhere I have looked. BUT even my husband keeps complimenting how pretty they look by our front door.

If you’re wondering if you should buy these - DO IT. they’re pretty realistic. They really are outdoor proof if you’re worried about that! I wanted some little trees for my front door. These came in a pack of 2 and are FABULOUS! They have a good bit of weight to them so they’re not flimsy. Really is outdoor friendly - we get a lot of random afternoon rain storms - and the trees have held up very nicely! I bought new plant vases since they come with just the normal black planters attached. Cannot wait to dress them up for holidays! ... show more

These topiaries are beautiful. My original order came in packaging that looked like it had been hit by a truck and one of the topiaries was broken from the base. I am very happy with this purchase. That being said, the leaves are pretty obviously plastic. And they have a strong plastic smell which I’m sure will go away soon.
