The frames themselves are okay. Not great, but ok. However, the matboards are paper thin and acidic, so will turn brown with age. The plexi is super thin. And the backing boards are too small and have some gaps that make them not fit as they should. This means the little metal clips you slide into the frame to hold the backing on pop out easily. The set of three all arrived falling apart without any of the clips holding the backings into place, which holds the frame with plexi, mat, and backing together. As I was trying to slide all the clips into place to attach them altogether, a few of them popped out, so maybe they all popped out during transport. I don't know. Also, one of the frame fronts was place on top of one of the frame backs, where it rubbed together and so the front of the frame was badly scraped up. Generally a poor quality built and put together set of frames.

This is my second set of picture frames from TWING. They’re not museum quality, but if that was what you needed, you’d visit a professional framer. Frankly, I prefer acrylic over glass for most things. It’s light and easy to hang without a drill, and perfect if you’re concerned about pictures being knocked into. I’m docking a point because of some scuffing on the interior matting.

This is a quick solution to place photos into a frame and the results are adequate for the money. You should note that the matte included is very thin with the faintest of beveled edging and two of the mattes I received showed indentations from the backing hardware. The use of a thin sheet of acrylic instead of glass also makes the frames very lightweight, however the drawback is that the thin acrylic tends to flex and warp when the edges are fastened in place with the metal hardware along the edge. This results in noticeable reflection warping from ambient light in a room which doesn't happen with glass - which can be distracting to the photo or artwork being displayed (see photo). One could replace the acrylic with a purchased thin piece of glass, I suppose, but if one is going to go to that trouble and expense it really defeats the purpose of this economical, quick solution and glass will make each frame heavier which may require a thick nail in the wall to secure it. There are sturdier frames this size and some with thicker pre-cut mattes with more noticeable interior beveled edges but they will be more expensive.

Cool frames! They come in a pack of 3. You can put pictures that are 8x10 inches with a special mat, or bigger ones like 11x14 inches without the mat. They're black and look nice on the wall. These frames are not weak; they feel strong. Hanging them is easy because of the brackets, and the mats that come with them are good. I really like these frames because they're good quality, not heavy, and you can put them together easily.
