I purchased these in several sizes! Having a kiddo who likes to play with balls in our home and me loving to display memories I was drawn to these because of the no glass. My big dog also likes to throw his toys around just as much as well. I liked these because they are light weight and I hung them up with Velcro command strips to avoid holes in my wall. Even the 11x14. These were great to have that bigger look with the matt. The matt also houses a collage matted version which is nice if you want to change it up. The “wood” part of the frames look pretty good and match the color shown in the photos, but the plexiglass is VERY reflective and obviously plasticy. That makes them look cheap. The hardware is strong and the rest of the product is good for the price, but I wish the covering was more matte.

I do watercolors and although not professional, I'm pretty good. I only do it for fun but I often give them away to friends. In my home gallery, I use moderately priced, good quality frames, but to give away my paintings, I didnt want to give away the good frames, so I purchased these for give aways. They aren't exactly great, but some of my paintings look pretty good in them. They are really inexpensive, but for less than $5 a piece, they certainly do the trick! Oh, update.....The inner cut out of the mat is perfect for my 9 x 12 paintings. They measure about 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 which is larger than almost any other frames I have purchased!
