I love the bed! I actually separated them, the top is a stand alone twin size bed that my younger son (6yr old) uses and it’s guarded- he twists and turns so it’s perfect for him. The bottom piece we use as twin for my older son (10yr old), and have opened it up to king size- loved it cause I didn’t have to buy and extra mattress! Worst Purchase Ever! DO NOT BUY!!! I WARNED YOU!! 🚨🚨 I never leave reviews, but I had to for this one because this bunk bed is a complete disaster. First off, it came with the wrong color—definitely not what I ordered. Then, when I tried to put it together, I noticed missing screws in the box! Like, how does that even happen? And I had to stop halfway because some of the holes didn’t even line up right, so it was impossible to finish the assembly without extra work. Reaching out to the seller for help? HA! That was a nightmare. The contact process was so difficult and I barely got any useful info. I literally got no response at all for a few days, and when I finally did, it was super unhelpful. Honestly, ordering a bed from Amazon was the worst decision I’ve ever made. This has been such a headache, and I regret it so much. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT buy this bunk bed, or really any furniture, from here. You’ll just end up frustrated, wasting time and money. Worst. Experience. Ever. ... show more

Love it! UPDATE DO NOT BUY! Not even a year later and the wood was splitting in multiple areas. My daughter is about 38 pounds so cannot be from weight. Literally took apart and threw out because I’m afraid for my daughters safety!!
