I ordered this with some trepidation as I've been burned multiple times with Amazon furniture. However this product has turned out to be beyond good; it's outstanding. It arrived in one box, no damage. Packaging was well organized with no Styrofoam flying everywhere as I opened the box and removed the pieces; and none were missing. But what really set this apart was the fit and finish. All the pieces lined up perfectly; nothing out of square and no re-drilling required. The directions were straight forward and it's easily assembled by a single person (use a cordless screwdriver). The box is heavy so you may need assistance moving it into the set up area, but other than that it's a one person job. This desk is absolutely beautiful and the quality is really good. The material feels sturdy, and it looks even better in person. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a little lower in height than I expected. It’s still long and spacious, just shorter than I imagined. Also, the advertisement described the color as black and white, but the “white” parts are actually more of a cream/beige tone. Thankfully, I still ended up loving the color because it looks warm and elegant. Assembly was actually very easy, even though it took me about 4 hours because I built it by myself. The instructions recommend 2 people and around 3 hours, so doing it alone definitely takes longer. There are a lot of small details and pieces, but overall it was simple to put together. Great desk for working from home. Enough space for 2 monitors, my hub and laptop so I have 3 screens. No cord opening in the backboard for the printer cord though. Found that odd. I do wish it had a keyboard tray though. I thought could add one but not found one yet that will fit given the desk is narrow and has a lip in front. I love the style and color. This desk is the perfect height and length that I wanted. The value was one of the reasons why I chose this particular item. It is comfortable to use, it gives me plenty of room for my 2 monitors to sit on top shelf and an area for my printer. I would give it a 3 star for screw quality, I don’t feel comfortable moving it around much because of the small and plastic insert locking mechanisms. This desk is sturdy enough for what I need. Instructions were relatively easy to follow which was great for me. The down side is the width, I would have liked it to be a bit wider, with a sturdier top shelf. Overall, I really like this desk and it’s worked well for my space, but there are a few things to be aware of before buying. It’s definitely a little smaller than I expected, so I’d recommend double-checking the dimensions if you need a lot of surface area. The built-in outlets are super convenient and honestly one of my favorite features—huge plus if you’re constantly charging things like I am. The farmhouse style is really cute and fits nicely with my setup. That said, some parts do feel a bit on the cheaper side. It’s not bad, just don’t go into it expecting super high-end quality. Once it’s put together though, it looks good and does the job. If you want something functional, cute, and reasonably priced, it’s a solid option—just manage your expectations a little. ... show more
