  • Great Simple Desk
Color: Black Woodgrain
We bought this desk for our daughter for Christmas. It's the perfect size for her and the function of it is perfect for a kids/teens desk. It was easy to assemble, my husband and I put it together in about an hour, maybe less together. Her favorite part about it is the little cubby above the drawers, it's the perfect size to tuck her laptop away in when she wants to use her sewing machine. The only negative thing that I have to say about it, is that the drawers are pretty deep (going back) however they don't pull out very far. I feel like they could make it to where they pull out a little further so it's easier to reach the back of the drawer. Other than that, though great desk, perfect for a kids/teens space or just a small space in general. ... show more

  • Took me 4 hours to assemble
Color: Black Woodgrain
Once assembled it seems sturdy and looks good. The instructions are pretty bad. No words, just drawings. After looking at some other reviews, I guess there is an app that you can download with better instructions? I didn't see that until after I was done building the desk, so I used the paper instructions. You'll need some patience, attention to detail, and some time. It took me almost 4 hours, but I assure you that everything fits together like it should. If at one point the locking pins seem to be too long on one side, and too short on the other side, you have it in backwards. If something doesn't seem right, you're probably doing something wrong. The parts do fit. Have fun! ... show more

  • Nice looking desk!
Color: Black Woodgrain
The top of the desk was damaged in shipping. I contacted the company and they rushed a new top in perfect condition. The assembly was a bit frustrating as were the attachments all tossed in one package. It went together and I’m satisfied.

  • Tvilum desk
Color: Black Woodgrain
All the screws, nails, and other pieces needed to attach parts together came all mixed together in one bag. It would have made the process easier if they were separated. Also I feel words added to the instructions would have made it easier to understand how to assemble. All and all once we figured it out it was a breeze. The desk looks beautiful and is very sturdy. ... show more

  • Sturdy little desk
Color: Black Woodgrain
Agree with other reviews on assembly. Just take your time and look at the photos in the instructions very carefully on what faces which way and you shouldn't have a problem. All my pieces were labeled so I could match them up with the illustrations. You will have some hardware pieces leftover so don't think you missed something. Had one issue that split the wood when connecting two pieces with the final screws. Was not my fault as I was being very gentle. It's holding and out of sight so i'm not too worried about it. All other screws secured well. A good small and decent desk, just what I needed for my computer. I think it's priced a tad high at $130-140, would think it be closer to $100 but could not find any other desk with these dimensions I was looking for. I'm happy with the purchase though and would recommend it. ... show more

  • Excellent desk for the money!!
Color: Black Woodgrain
I am very pleased with this desk. Not bad putting together given you follow the directions and have common sense. Very sturdy desk. and it looks nice.

  • Nice
Color: Black Woodgrain
The desk is somewhat easy to put together. I used this desk as a vanity. There were no chips but the instructions were east.

  • Nightmare build but solid desk when finally put together.
Color: Black Woodgrain
I should begin by saying that I think I can count the number of times on one hand that I have left a written review for a product. The pros are that when built it is sturdy, has plenty of legroom, the drawers glide easily, and it’s perfect for a small space. The cons: I read how easily a product can be put together by whether my smart, savvy 14-year-old who is awesome at Legos can put it together. Let’s just say, it wasn’t more than five minutes before he realized there was no way he was going to be able to get this done. These might be the worst instructions I have ever read for a piece of furniture, and I build my own out of whole lumber. I must’ve put pieces on backwards 6 million times, and it takes lots of access spatial reasoning to figure out what to do. Just at that point when you think that the bolts that they’ve provided you are too short, consider flipping the piece over, which you would know from reading the directions. They also don’t indicate shaded or non-shaded side to let you know which side the laminate should be facing. They also don’t indicate shaded or non-shaded side to let you know which side the laminate should be facing. It also came damaged, but most of the damage is in places that you don’t see, and the one that you can see, it doesn’t really matter to me because it is for said 14-year-old. I’m giving it three stars because when it is finally built it’s a fine piece of furniture. But anyone trying to compare this to an IKEA build, must’ve just gotten lucky when they put pieces together. Not a great instruction manual, Denmark. ... show more
