This soundbar has excellent highs and lows. It also does quite well with voices for watching normal TV shows and Blu Ray movies. Plenty of Boom for the Buck. It is also the most versatile soundbar as it can be connect with Aux/RCA, optical, HDMI, bluetooth, etc. It outperforms the Zyvox and Majority soundbars I am comparing this too. And at a $79 price or there about, you can't beat it. Very please with purchase, so I bought a second one! It is low profile and yet comes with wall mounting kit. Solidly built. ... show more

UPDATED REVIEW: TLDR of OP: After having trouble with this new soundbar I submitted a support ticket, pessimistically. A couple of weeks after I submitted my ticket and left this Amazon review I got an email from Shelly, a Bestisan rep, asking me about my experience, apologized, and wanted to make it right. (unclear if it was the support ticket, or if they're watching Amazon reviews). She offered to send me a new sound bar at no extra charge, then arranged the shipping and emailed me a tracking number. Within about a week a replacement arrived. The replacement works as advertised and sounds great! It seems that the original unit was defective. So now I'm happy with my purchase, and downright impressed by the determination of Bestisan to make it right. Shelly went out of her way to stand by her company's product and that counts for something these days. Her only ask was that I update my review. Well, that sounded fair to me... *submit* *** original review **** Recently moved into a new place and ordered this to use with the living room TV. The TV's speaker wasn't cutting it. When the sound bar arrived I took it out of the box and connected to my phone via bluetooth. The sound was full and rich! Yay! But... As soon as the dust settled from the move I connected it via optical cable between TV and speaker and mounted it on the wall. I set the TV to use optical, I set the speaker to use optical. Though sound was coming through and could be controlled with the included remote, I was puzzled to hear that the quality of the sound was terrible - as if the speaker was playing from within a long, paper bag. The signal sounded over-amplified even at low volume. Grainy and low fi. I explored the menus in the TV. Same result. I tired a second optical cable. Same result. I tried an HDMI cable on the HDMI(ARC) port. Same result. I spent about 3 hours exploring audio settings menus, aided by manuals for both devices. Same result. Tried a second TV. HDMI cable and optical cable. Explored all the menus and settings in the second TV. Always the same result. My TVs don't have Bluetooth options. Just HDMI and optical. Doesn't help me that it sounds great via bluetooth. Submitted a help ticket with Bestisan. (image attached). I'm not encouraged. I give up. I'm returning this. ... show more

I am pleasantly surprised with the sound on this sound bar. For the price I was pleasantly surprised for the sound quality. The only complaint I have is with the remote and It is hard to read the different settings on the remote and on the sound bar.

I bought one of these a year ago and just got a second. It takes a little work but these Bluetooth sound bars do connect and work with Alexa. Here's how you do it: 1) From your Alexa app, click on Devices at the bottom 2) Next select Echo & Alexa as shown in first picture (don't click the + icon at the top, that's where you're making a mistake) and select your Echo device 3) After this you'll see an option for Bluetooth Connections and in blue Connect a device. It's quite easy but I can see how clicking the + icon is leading many of you to a dead end. Good luck ... show more

I am so impressed with this BESTISAN 100Watt Soundbar especially at less than $100. The soundbar is well packaged and includes just about anything you'd need to hook it up. I did purchase a 6ft Amazon Basics optical audio cable since I did not know what the length of the supplied one was. Set up was super simple. We were constantly complaining about not being able to understand what people were saying on our TV shows.
