This was the perfect size record holder for our space. Our particular record player sits on top of the sides, but it’s stable enough. Love that the bottom section holds the records. It has a defect. The holes for the dividers are on the back so the back piece can not slide in the groove. I’ll have to drill holes on the front.

I'm an avid DIY'er & Crafter, so I made a few tweaks to the original design. Because I wasn't going to use this as a record player/vinyl storage side table, I only put the middle vertical wood separator and left out the two additional vertical wood pieces that go on either side. I just filled in the holes with a furniture marker that was a dark brown similar to the finish so the holes wouldn't be as visible. With that said, the instructions had a misprint & if you look at my photo #2 I attached, make sure you use vertical wood piece labeled G as the center piece. I have circled in red where the wood piece labeled G should go. The two vertical wood separators that go to either side of it are pieces should be the ones labeled F as they get wood dowels inserted, wood piece G has bigger holes for the screws labeled K. Other than that, it's a good, sturdy piece. Just be careful not to overscrew the screws into the wood or you'll puncture or put an indention in the wood. It's somewhat a softer wood than other furniture pieces I've purchased from Amazon. ... show more
