Just what I needed, and I wish I bought two at once. The stability is questionable though I don't think it will fall around adults. Small children on the other-hand might knock it over, especially if you add the short legs on the end. Also I am very tall (5’8) and this shelf is about my height. If you’re shorter or have extra short ceilings, you may have to leave off a level or two. I’m not entirely sure about how wobbly it is without them since I didn’t try. I personally didn't want to screw it into the wall because I tend to change my mind and move furniture on a random Tuesday + we are renting. This was so easy to assemble and so lightweight that I did it in bed. The quality is great and matches our gray furniture. It came with extra pieces and an option to turn it into 2 nightstands! Great if you downsize and want to keep minimal things. Most tall bottles fit so you don’t have to worry about that, you could also put your own drawers inside of it. I needed something to put all my smell goods on because it was taking up too much drawer and dresser space. Planning on getting a desk to go next to it soon and a second shelf to finish the job! Totally worth buying! The assembly is tinkertoy easy and they look nice! I bought four of the six tiers for my small home art studio.. one for books and three for all else. I didn't want big heavy shelves and these are light and stable! I put them with a couple other storage pieces I already had, painted a piece of 1x12 lumber white, to put across the top of them to make one long shelf and installed a couple of battery operated puck lights in them, and voila; a large, stable unit without the intimidating weight or price. I purchased not one, but *two* of these shelves for the purposes of storing my massive hoard of plush toys. For what I purchased them for, they get the job done swimmingly and they look great with the rest of my room. Assembly was simple, and although it was fairly easy to figure out, the provided instruction manual may not be easy for some to make sense of. There are also provided pieces for mounting the shelves to the wall for added sturdiness, and though they are included in the parts list, there are no provided instructions for them. One thing buyers should be aware of is the shelves and legs may arrive dirty with the dust and dirt from the factory. It's relatively easy to wipe them off with your hand, but it may not be a good first impression. As other buyers mentioned, a few of the pieces came with visual imperfections that, while easy to hide, may turn away those who are more particular about aesthetics. For the price however, the shelves are still well-made. Other buyers have mentioned concerns about the sturdiness and stability of the shelves. I cannot comment on the sturdiness as plush toys are not particularly heavy, however the shelves do exhibit a wobble (which is to be expected for this particular make of shelf; one without structural support in between the beams). That being said, though it wobbles, it doesn't feel as if it will fall apart easily. The pieces are all solid wood, as well. One negative is when I was putting on one of the feet for the second shelf, I'd twisted it tight (as I did with no issue for the other pieces), but for this particular piece it caused the glued in screw component to pop out. I had to use pliers to remove it from the shelf so I could use one of the spare legs instead. I did not face this issue with any other pieces, but it should be kept in mind that the application of glue across the pieces does not appear to be consistent. All in all, it is a good shelf and I am satisfied with my purchase. I did not expect a pristine or elegant shelf (nor did I intend to buy one), as this is a very fairly priced shelf.
