Great choice if your looking for a tire and on a budget! I am surprised how good the tire quality and performance is. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between this tire and the name brand tire I usually run. It actually gets just as good or better traction than my go to name brand tire. I can get 2 of these for what one costs. Also, summer riding in northern California in the Sierra mountains is mostly dry, hard pack and a lot of decomposed granite so tires get worn 2x faster than winter riding that's why I ordered this more affordable tusk tire and I'm happy I did, it's been a great tire and the price is right! ... show more

Great tire. Much beefier tread than stock. A bit challenging to install (I used tire spoons and cornstarch) without damaging inner tube (I trashed one inner tube during install). 2nd go around, went slower, no problem.
