This mount has been absolutely outstanding for securing my Garmin Varia radar. Once installed, it holds the unit firmly and securely with no rattling, shifting, or concerns about it moving during rides - even on rough pavement. I now have this installed on my road bike and my hybrid city e-bike. I move my Garmin Varia 515 between the two bikes...easily! It's versatile in that way, and btw, very light! I’ve used enough cycling accessories over the years to know that “good enough” mounting systems usually aren’t good enough when you’re trusting an expensive device on the back of your bike. This one inspires confidence immediately. The fit and finish are excellent, installation was straightforward, and the design feels both sturdy and thoughtfully engineered. Honestly, it works so well that I barely think about it anymore, which is exactly what you want from a bike accessory. If Amazon allowed 6-star reviews, this would get one from me.

This mount does exactly what it’s supposed to do, but a word of caution: the metal is light and can break if you crank down on it too aggressively. I’ve seen reviews from people who snapped it during installation. That said, I had no issues at all. You just need to use common sense. This is a mount for a Garmin Varia—not something designed to hold 50 pounds. Tighten it snug, not like you’re torquing a lug nut. If you install it properly, it holds firm and feels secure. What I really like is the position it puts the Varia in. It sits perfectly for visibility and gives a clear line of sight to approaching cars. It looks clean and professional once installed. Overall, the quality is very good, and the price is excellent compared to Garmin-branded options. Just install it carefully and it performs exactly as intended.

This item appears to be properly engineered & manufactured. It installed easily, but it did NOT fit correctly on the initial saddle/bike combination that I purchased it for. Nevertheless, it worked on another one, so because of the solid construction quality, I decided to keep it and just used a different type of mount for the other bike. Otherwise, it would be a 5 Star score. The specific saddle it would not fit is a Selle Italia SLR carbon rail version. It holds the Garmin Radar Cam unit as solidly as the OEM version, and I feel very confident about that. This option makes the move from one bike to another seamless and hassle free.

Very sturdy and easy to install. Fit my fizik bike rails well. Price is very reasonable compared to Garmin brand and seems just as solid. Like the way it keeps my radar and light high up for better visibility and detection. Also nice not to have to deal with the mount on the seat post when putting the bike into the work stand. Overall a good buy.

This mounting system has great flexibility for however, you need to mount your radar, but the screws due back themselves out. Needed to change my seat and upon further inspection, found that I’ve lost one of the mountain screws underneath. Upon finding a replacement screw, I used a little bit of black tight and hope that will do the trick.

Works great, allows mounting in much more visible location behind small saddle bag. Nice and rigid mount. Some reviews complain about snapped bracket... Just don't overtighten. I also applied removable strength loctite to the 2 bracket screws. See photo comparisons with this bracket vs the standard Garmin Varia seat tube mount. It is much more visible and up away from wheel in the new setup.

This mount works very well. It keeps the radar unit securely attached to my saddle, at a good height, correct angle, and full visibility to sense oncoming traffic and shine a clear warning. It also leaves a space to use a medium size sadle bag. The radar is such an important safety tool, it is great to have it secured reliably.
