Fits as described, even allowing room for a sizable under-seat bag (barely, so your experience may vary). Screws torqued to 3nm, no sign of loosening. Half the cost of the name brand, all the function.

    • Solid and stable mount
Size: Varia RCT715 Mount
This mount is solid and, with the bolts torqued and thread-locked, is very secure and stable. I do use a silicone case with a lanyard wrapped around the seat rail in case the Garmin ever comes loose, but haven't had any issues in the ~50 hours I've ridden with it so far.

Works great but the screws will fall out when riding . Either use lock tight or double nut them they will work loose . The mount is great adjustable and well made .

The taillight mount works beautifully. It's sturdy and despite having a saddlebag, has plenty of room to mount onto the seat rails. It's a stable platform for my Garmin Varia, regardless of road conditions. Highly recommend

When mounted, my varia tail light radar keeps pointing down instead of straight. There's a screw that should tighten it and maintain its position facing straight behind the bike, but it doesn't work properly and as I ride, the light ends falling and pointing down instead.
