This item appears to be properly engineered & manufactured. It installed easily, but it did NOT fit correctly on the initial saddle/bike combination that I purchased it for. Nevertheless, it worked on another one, so because of the solid construction quality, I decided to keep it and just used a different type of mount for the other bike. Otherwise, it would be a 5 Star score. The specific saddle it would not fit is a Selle Italia SLR carbon rail version. It holds the Garmin Radar Cam unit as solidly as the OEM version, and I feel very confident about that. This option makes the move from one bike to another seamless and hassle free. ... show more

First ride bolt fell off and slid around. Lucky it didn’t fall off. I would give 0 stars if available. I tightened very tight before ride but bolt still came loose and if not to be found again.

I ordered this product so I could mount my Varia 715 a little bit higher. Due to my saddle stem and saddle bag, the existing position for the Varia was just above my rear wheel, which is just ok, so I wanted a broader view of what is behind me when riding. I was a little bit hesitant to order this particular bracket because of some of the negative reviews, but so far so good. I did have to readjust the position a couple times to ensure a proper installation. I also added two zip ties as a back up for securing it to the rails under my saddle. I plan to periodically check the screws’ tightness, in case they loosen over time. ... show more

This mount is solid and, with the bolts torqued and thread-locked, is very secure and stable. I do use a silicone case with a lanyard wrapped around the seat rail in case the Garmin ever comes loose, but haven't had any issues in the ~50 hours I've ridden with it so far.
