First Amazon review here, I was so impressed with this product that I felt I needed to share my experience. Truly an excellent snorkel set. Used for our trip to Turks and Caicos this past week. This was originally suppose to be the backup set to our Cressi snorkel, but it ended up being far superior to that set. Quality appearance and assembly. No water ever entered the snorkel, stayed completely dry during every use. The goggles worked excellent when paired with a good anti-fog spray or baby-shampoo. The FOV in these scuba-style goggles is great and offers an uninstructed view while in the water. Both remained comfortable for 1-1.5 hrs of continuous use. Additional recommendations: Must use a quality anti-fog spray or shampoo to keep them clear during use. Pair this set with a fins for easy navigation.     • Best mask ever after 24 years of diving.
This mask and snorkel set replaces a TUSA Imprex Hyperdry mask and snorkel I've been using for 22 years. The original snorkel plastic tube finally cracked due to plastic rot, but the mask still works quite well. The new mask seems to offer very similar performance, and the new silicon skirt is amazingly supple. My old mask has stiffened somewhat, but still seals well. What I love about these masks, in addition to the skirt design with a double seal, is the the purge. It isn't the easiest design for allowing you to pinch your nose to equalize, but I rarely need to use my fingers to do that anyway. But the placement and design of the purge valve is fantastic. If I somehow get some hair or hood trapped under the skirt, I can wait until a convenient moment to reposition, all the time just exhaling through the mask to clear it. Then too, masks all will leak a little. I use this to roll the water around the inside lens to clear it, then purge. I love this mask. I've tried a lot of different ones. Very happy with how this gear performed. Mask and snorkel were comfortable, functional, and easy to clear water out of. We were shocked at how little water got in our snorkels, even on days with rough surf. What little water made its way in through the top was easily purged in one breath, and it was never enough to cause us any problems breathing. One of us had some minor issues with fogging, so next time we’ll use anti fog spray. We had fairly low expectations for gear at this price and we’re just hoping to have a bit of fun. We were pleasantly surprised by how well it all worked for all day use on a week long trip! ... show more

    • Beautiful snorkel set - great quality - hurts my nose

This is a difficult review to write because my only issue is with the fit so it might not be a problem for some people. I looked a so so many masks, read so many reviews, tried masks on in stores, etc. before I decided on this set. I do think it's a very good value and of course it's good quality since it's TUSA. The snorkel is great - no problems at all. I love the visibility of the clear sides on the mask. They're sort of like little side mirrors. This is also the first time I've had a purge feature and I really dig that, too! The mask doesn't have the quick-release straps or quick snorkel clip like some of the more expensive sets, but I knew that going in. The problem I have with it is that it hurts the bottom of my nose so badly! I wear the mask down as low as I can so it's resting on the edge of my upper lip and that helps. I decided to keep the set because I was having such a hard time finding a perfect fit and I liked everything else about this. Also, I was leaving for a snorkeling trip and I needed something!     • Awesome mask - even better snorkel!
This mask and snorkel set is definitely a winner! I deliberated forever on which mask to get, but I'm so glad I chose this one. It fits very well with a huge window for optimal sightseeing. I had to scrub it with toothpaste and dish soap about 6-7 times when I first received it, in order to get the factory film off, but after that, no problem with fogging. The only thing I will say is to make sure you don't have the mask on too tight, otherwise the plastic near the nose purge will dig into your face. Not a big deal - just adjust it to fit your face snugly, but not too tightly, and it's no longer an issue. This is probably common sense to most people. The snorkel itself is amazing. ZERO water gets in that thing - and trust me - I've tried! Goodbye to the days of constantly blowing water out of my non-dry snorkel. Highly recommend! ... show more

Perfect mask and snorkel! Mask has stayed clear, no leakage anywhere and snorkel valve works great when diving down and back up again. No water enters. It’s been a great experience!

    • TUSA purge valve pro series mask has fatal design flaw!

While TUSA makes a high quality product, this particular mask has a design flaw related to the purge valve: The nose assembly has a hard shell that continues on the exterior below the nose level making it very difficult (I have large fingers) to reach under and pinch your nose in order to clear your ears. With the snorkel in your mouth - or regulator while diving - it is very difficult, and nearly impossible without breaking the seal - for me to clear my ears. Since clearing your ears is a key scuba requirement - their design team made a mistake that renders the product unusable for me.....returning. ... show more
