  • Worth every penny
Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
Absolutely amazing. People complaining about not having good sound either haven't messed with the settings or don't understand how eq adjustment works. With that said if you got the money for them and are a daily gamer they are well worth it. It's a little inconvenient always needing to use the app on your phone but once you dial in settings they really sound amazing... footsteps/audio cues aver very distinctive and pin point direction in fps.. tho iv had to mess with eq settings for game specific to really bring out the wanted sounds. Mic could honestly be a bit better but sound alot better than most and is great at blocking background noise.. the noise canceling is pretty effective if your in a noise home. It blocks out my ac unit and kids playing fairly well. I wish the mic was a bit sleeker and not look like a fm antenna lol. N the built in mics according to my friends sounds horrible so definitely recommend planning to use the boom mic. I personally haven't had any issues with pairing or connection with xbox or phone. Highly suggest getting dobly atom and recommend using the gaming preset and make sure setting on council or PC are properly changed... all and all these are the most comfortable, detailed sound(iv heard sound iv never heard before in games I've played for years), alot of settings/options, comfortable with glasses even with the lil extra clamping force these have(are a bit tight) but still super comfortable. I don't really notice the weight. That was one of my original concerns but not anymore. Battery life should of definitely of been better but i haven't needed to change out batteries during a gaming n I tend to game upwards or 8hours a day. Just remember to swap batteries before calling it quits for the night. Worse casescenarioyou have the abilityto charge and play with the usb/c that comes with one is like 2 ft the other is like 6ft. Fast charge times. I didn't like the buttons on the right side or the size of the volume wheel but it's grown on me it's easy and convenient for a quick spin to get desired volume. To conclude if your just a 1 or 2 day gamer you might find all the setting and adjustments overwhelming and just not necessary. But if you are looking to step up your ability to pinpoint enemies and get the drop on them by hearing every step/wepon swap/reload/ and any other audio cue a game may have than these are definitely worth it. Messing with the eq settings and dialing them in for every game is a must in my opinion. Tho it can be a pain if you dont have much experience with eq frequency adjustments, once you hit those sweet spots and figure it out you'll find yourself easily predicting your enemies next move with ease and be getting death comms/messages demanding how you knew where they were/accused of cheating in no time. Hands down absolutely the best on the market at the moment for councils ... show more

  • Super unhappy with turtle Beach.…
Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
The pros Easy setup didn’t have to make too many changes to get decent quality sound. If you want to tinker with the settings it has a phone app to link to and you can make changes from there via Bluetooth. The one touch button is nice I set it up for the noise canceling. Battery lasts a good amount of time and the “hot swap” that remembers your settings is very nice. The mic, when it works, works well and the boom up to mute is nice. The cons The tiny wires on the inside connecting the mic were pinched during assembly so they couldn’t move freely as intended. With the pinched mic wire after moving the boom mic up and down to mute when needed it finally cause the ground wire to fail because of an assembly issue. The rest of the wiring is just held in place by being pushing into slots and everything had come loose. Inside of the headset there is no quality to the parts or assembly which is odd for how heavy the headset is. Headset takes a lot of getting used to as it is heavy enough to cause neck fatigue and not because of quality. The top bad with the cushion, the outer cover is just slightly pinched into place and separated with minimal use. The ear covers take some getting used to, they are covered in some “leather” like material and it’s not very breathable on top of not being very noise suppressing for blocking out sound, which makes the noise canceling less affecting. After fixing the ground wire issues I have a new issue with the jack for where the mix plugs in. The pins are now warn out and cause random stack and the mix not working, annoying for me and people I game with. Over very disappointed in turtle Beach their last headset was amazing (ear force x41) and still is only down side is no one is supporting optical audio anymore unfortunately. Another major issue when first getting the headset setup was updates… yes upates to a headset why? Because no one develops a product anymore they just make is sup par and push updates to cover the missed development. Super unhappy with turtle Beach. ... show more

  • High quality, multi-use headphones! A+
Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
I have been using the PS5 version of these headsets over the last year and they have been solid overall. Probably the best headset Ive personally used at this price point. I enjoyed them so much, I bought a pair for my brother for his Xbox Series X to replace his Stealth 600 Previous Headsets: Came from TB Stealth 600/700, Triton 720 Wired. Entry level Astros, Logitech etc (all under $100) Decided to try a "premium" headset to see if the extra money is really worth it, and I will to say, yes for me personally . The build quality, comfort, style (love the black/simple look), sound, ease of use, customization via app and versatility. It does it all decently good, but comes at a price Build/Quality/Styling: 5/5 Very comfortable, and looks great! Im glad these only come in black/silver. It does give the "premium" look you could take anywhere. Comfortable on the ears and easy to adjust Sound/TB Audio Hub app: 5/5 Sound is excellent. Especially once you customize the EQ settings to get the max sound preference. You can fine tune and set different profiles etc Never heard complaints of mic quality either Extremely happy with sound quality overall Ease of Use/Versatility: 5/5 Direct plug and play. Just plug the USB transmitter, the console recognizes it and you're ready to go! Specifically on the Xbox, I did have to log into Audio Hub app to unmute the Mic, but everything was great after. Very simple to get rolling On top of that, you can pair these headsets to your phone via BT mode and stream music/podcasts. Or pair to your PC for working etc Worth the $300? Its pushing it, but I would pay $300. If you can get these for $250 or lower its ALOT of bang for your buck. The sound quality, ease of use and versatility is hard to beat IMO. Highly recommended A+ ... show more

  • Premium Comfort, Killer Battery Life, and Crystal-Clear Audio ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
These headphones are deceptively lightweight for their size, and the fit is absolutely fantastic. Even with extended wear, they stay comfortable—no pressure points, no ear fatigue. I upgraded to WC Breeze gel earpads, and even on 100°F days with the AC struggling, my ears stay cool and dry. The headband adjusts easily and accommodates larger heads without a hitch. The active noise cancelling is phenomenal. Cranked to 100%, I can’t hear the fan five feet away or my wife’s TV in the next room. Load into Call of Duty with the music disabled, and it’s almost zen-like—pure silence until the action starts. Battery life? Unreal. I’ve had marathon gaming sessions and never hit empty. You get verbal battery updates, and swapping batteries is a breeze. The wireless interface base doubles as a charger, and Turtle Beach includes two batteries right out of the box. Now, audio quality—this is where the Stealth Pro truly shines. I’m an audiophile with a background in building competition-grade car audio systems, and my hearing is precise (though I do have misophonia, so sound sensitivity matters). These headphones deliver. The app is intuitive, and the audio settings are nearly limitless. It remembers your custom EQ profiles even after powering off. For Call of Duty, there’s a setting called “Superhuman Hearing” that enhances footsteps without muting your own—so it’s not a cheat, just a tactical edge. On the music side, you’ve got pre-programmed EQs, bass boost, and a signature sound mode that’s rich and immersive. Multiple pages of settings let you fine-tune everything to your liking. The audio imaging is impressively precise. You can clearly hear explosions in the distance or right next to you, and the left/right separation is immersive. Whether you're gaming, listening to music, or watching a movie, the soundstage pulls you right in. The microphone is also impressive. Your voice comes through clear and natural—not scratchy or tinny. I do wish the boom arm had a bit more adjustability to better position it near your mouth. That said, it’s cleverly designed: swing the boom down and the charging base glows green—you're live. Swing it up and out of the way, and it mutes your mic with a red indicator on the base. You can even remove the boom entirely and use the built-in mics. They’re not quite as crisp, but they’ll get the job done in a pinch. Bottom line: These are the best headphones I’ve ever owned. I’m comparing them directly to my old Polk Four Square headset that came with my Xbox One, and even my Sony MDR-V6 studio headphones for music. The Stealth Pro outperforms them all—in comfort, clarity, features, and versatility. Turtle Beach nailed it. ... show more

Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift and he absolutely loves it. They are light weight and comfortable on long wears if you’re playing for a few hours and having the convenience of the extra battery that can charge while you the other is an added luxury. The ear covers are soft and well cushioned, allowing for good noise cancellation and sound quality. There is even some cushion on the top of the headset, so your head is not resting on hard plastic. ... show more

  • Good headset for gaming
Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
Ive been using this headset after i swapped from astro a50 gen 4. I bought them since i liked my 800’s from turtle besch if i remember the model number correctly without the mic boom. I did noticed recently the headset has been disconnecting randomly without a battery warning and not sure whats going on unless needs a firmware update. I have been liking them since its easy to toss music from my phone while playing and in discord or party chat The gripes i got is controls on the device itself is limited and have to use the app when i want to change volume and other features from the device. My old turtle beaches i had more control unless im being stupid and just need to change the wheel control. But ive been looking at swapping to razer since i have a bunch of razer devices. Overall this headset has done me well and more me flip flopping to find exactly what i want or trying different devices. ... show more

  • Upgrading from Elite 880X, Day and Night difference. [UPDATED, Mic not working]
Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
UPDATE: So not even a year in and the mic started crackling horribly. Bought a new mic boom thinking that was the issue, but even after changing it still the same problem. What's worse is that for whatever reason the headset thinks the mic boom is connected even if unplugged so it will not even let me use the built in mics, Turtle beach support could help either because it was bought through Amazon Warehouse Deals. So now I have $300 gaming headphones without a mic. Another let down was at about the 5 month mark the headband leather started to come undone, it was either use tape or let it come undone and the foam go with it pretty soon, so tape it was. I'm on the fence if I'll keep recommending Turtle Beach headsets considering the Elite 800X had to have some fixes done to it as well, and before those the Ear Force X4 and X41 constantly needing new controller connector cable. ORINGAL REVIEW: I have the Elite 800X and I thought it was a good headset, first the battery died but I was able to replace that and the ear pad since they were so worn out at about the 5 year mark, unfortunately recently the mic started giving out on me (giving horrendous echo in parties, I tried to fix it to no avail) so after 8 years of use it was time for a new headset. In come the Stealth Pro. Wow. The first time I heard this headset I was blown away by the quality of sounds I was hearing. The detailed crispness of the highs and the well noted bass (although not excessive). I was listening to details in music I didn't know were there before. The noise cancelling, while not best, certainty does a good job of isolating you. This headset does not have spatial audio, but you can get a subscription to a spatial audio of your choice if using on a PC or Dolby Atmos on an Xbox, I'm using it on a PC and got the Dolby Atmos subscription and it defiantly allows you to detect the location of enemies in games, and for movies too, it enhances the theatrical sound. Comfort wise, these are very confrontable, way more that the Elite 800X, having deeper ear cups means if you have larger ears, like me, they are not rubbing the inside of the headset and causing discomfort. The foam on the earcups themselves are really supple, very soft, I have not had issues with them getting hot. The headband is pretty flexible and grips you well but not with too much force, I would have like maybe a little more clamping force on the headband, but that is personal preference. One feature I really liked is that it comes with two batteries, the transmitter base serving as a charging base for the spare battery too. This way you never have to worry about running out of battery in the middle of a game, and even if you do, you can change the battery really quick and its designed so that when a new battery is placed in the headset, it turns on automatically, so one less step to worry about if your swapping batteries in the middle of a gaming session. While not the cheapest, I think they are worth the money ... show more

  • Pretty good headset, overpriced for what it is though
Style: Stealth Pro Xbox
I went in thinking this could be the headset I stick with. Ended up not being the case. Pros: - Swappable batteries are nice - Decent soundstage - Lots of customization options in the Turtle Beach app Cons: - Weak sidetone. This was a big one. I was told that Turtle Beaches have the best sidetone of Xbox headsets. The sidetone sounded good only when the mic was pushed right next to my mouth. When it was resting in a natural comfortable position I couldn't hear it at all. - Comfort. The earpads are kind of a pleather material which some people like and some people don't. I usually don't get hot when wearing any headset any more but I did get a little hot when wearing this one. The bigger issue was the discomfort on my ears, as the clamp force was way too strong for me. For reference, I wear glasses, so this may not be an issue for some people. - Convoluted. I figured it out eventually but trying to get the headset to do everything I wanted to when setting up EQs and settings in the app was convoluted, and casual users might not want the hassle. I also wish there were more options for customization of the wheel, or the ability to also adjust volume and game/chat mix from the Xbox party screen. So overall decent headset, but not worth the $330 list price. I got it on sale for $170 and there are other headsets at that price point that are better in my opinion. I'll be returning mine for the comfort and sidetone reasons, but if those aren't an issue for you it's not a bad option at the sale price. ... show more
