We got these to cover our counter stools/chairs that were showing wear (leather cracking). The counter stools/chairs are still in excellent condition except for looking bad - ha. So, ordered these and they are 'OK' - they will do. The fit is not exactly perfect - with some wrinkling where the seat meets the back and the pattern in the fabric tends to go wonky. I ordered some sheet corner holders (see link below) that worked out real well at holding the covers in place better so they don't slip as much. Overall, we are satisfied. The color taupe is not gorgeous but we are ok with it for now. May change colors next year. We are not overly fussy people. If you are, I would recommend spending a LOT more money and having your chairs recovered professionally. These do not look like a professional reupholstering would - but looks so much better than the cracked and torn leather did. I had originally purchased a red waffle fabric set from this seller years ago. So when I changed the color scheme of my dining room I went back to this product because I was so happy with my last set. I am happy to say that the newer velvet look is by far my absolute favorite. The waffle fabric was good but personally I like the look of dimension. The color is absolutely beautiful and the stitching is done well. I have already washed these once and I had no seams coming apart. One thing I would mention is out of the package the fabric has wrinkles, after I dried them they were still there however I used a low heat cycle. These may need steamed to get rid of them, but I like the "marble" textured look it gives them.
