I've accidentally bumped it into walls and even flipped it a couple of times, driven it down the stairs, but it emerged unscathed. The media could not be loaded. I wish I had a speed gun to confirm, but I do not doubt the listing claim stating 25 kmh. This is really fun to drive on pavement, and it does get through grass pretty easily so long as it's not too long. I highly recommend seeing my video to see for yourself, but I put the basic highlights below in pro/con format. SPEED/HANDLING + This thing is a rocket out of the gate with a very responsive throttle on the remote as well as steering... mostly. - The controller does seem to do all or none on turns; by that I mean it seems like a click that either makes the full right / left turn or straight with no in between. + This can do easy 180° turns if you're on relatively smooth pavement by flooring it forward and then just slam it in reverse; so fun. REMOTE/CONTROLLER + It has a really nice foamy, sort of rubberized wheel for steering, and a dual action trigger (fwd/reverse). - It does not have RTR steering, so it's either a full right or a full left, and I think the same goes for the throttle unfortunately. +/- It does have a speed adjustment knob, but I don't think that mine worked, because it just seemed fast all the time. + You can control the brightness of the body lights which is awesome so you can have more focus on the headlights when you're driving it in low light. HEADLIGHTS VS. SPECIAL FX + The lights on the car are surprisingly good, and I drove it at night without issue in the street. - I do think that they could have given more of their focus to the headlights themselves, because the body light show can get distracting in terms of keeping track of what direction you're facing when at a distance. MISCELLANEOUS + The tires are really nice and have a good amount of give to where I think it would be okay to bang around a little indoors. - The car is faster than the tire cushions can handle so if you're really protective of wooden furniture legs or something along those lines, I wouldn't recommend too much indoor play.

Such a fun car to drive! bought for my kid and found myself playing with it. Very fast car that can handle the dirt very well. I have a dirt hill in the backyard that it climbs no problem. Really like the speed setting for the little kids on the remote control, if your kid isn't advanced in rc cars the setting comes in handy.

This car is VERY fast. Even on the lowest setting it is fast. If you are not a professional you will need to make sure you got plenty of runway to drive it. Materials are of high quality and the car is very durable. Remote control is good and sensitive. You will have a lot of fun with this one.

These little cars are a lot of fun. The 2WD vs 4WD has it's pro's and con's - I generally prefer the 4WD because it handles off-road (like the grass) better, but 2WD does allow some more drifting/trick driving. For it's price-point, I think most people will be pleasantly surprised and impressed by the performance and the cool looks with the LED light options. This is perfect for my 8 year old daughter - in a short time she has gotten impressively precise with it. This is not as fast as some, but it has an impressive battery life and is a great starter RC car. Overall 4.8/5

I'm a grown man and I still love RC toys. This is a fun little buggy that's great for just casual use. Obviously it's not like a professional level Traxxas but you're also not paying that price for a professional level car. It's pretty Zippy and very fun to play with. The range is decent and I would recommend it.
