The skates seem nice, but are not true to size. My girlfriend always rents a size 8 at the skating rink and these skates are too small. Now she's got to return them and get a bigger size so make sure you buy a size up from what you usually wear to avoid having to return them.

My size in shoes is typically 7-1/2 to 8. Based on reading other reviews, I ordered 1-1/2 to 2 sizes smaller. ((Mens size 5 / Women's size 6. They fit perfect for my feet, and with a little extra room to add cushion insoles. It did come with adjusting tools. They roll and skate beautifully, and the breaking rubber works well.
