I also have Doc Martens boots, and of course you will have more arch support and real leather options if you get these shoes, designed for women working in tough conditions on their feet all day, like me. These boots are a very cool, minimalist option as well, without the yellow stitching along the sole, and have a warm cozy lining. Sometimes you don't want to worry about taking care of leather and need an inexpensive pair of boots that still look cool and are comfortable and able to withstand a moderate amount of abuse. These boots don't look tacky or cheap and you can clean mud off and even rinse them on the bottom without dealing with leather care. They are roomy, don't hurt my feet, and the toe shape hides my bunions. You could fit an arch support insert or more cushioning in them, if desired. Water didn't get in when I stepped in deep puddles walking my dog.

These are nice-looking boots; however, they run large. I liked the aesthetic look of them and they seem very warm and durable. Unfortunately, I will be returning because I am a size 6 and they don’t have any size smaller. It feels like I could have gone a full size down in these boots to a 5. I am normally between a size 6 or 6 1/2 so that tells me these boots run pretty large. I prefer my boots to be more fitted so will be returning. I’ll still give 4 stars because they seem great outside of the sizing issue. If they had a size 5, I would have reordered.

I don’t normally write reviews but I’ve had these for a little over a month and one of the soles is coming off inside. They aren’t supportive (I’m on my feet all day). Super cute shoes but the worst thing is they are very difficult to get on and off! I saw reviews stating this and didn’t take to seriously enough unfortunately. Don’t fully regret buying them but wouldn’t buy it again.

Usually when I get boots like this they end up being completely annoying, rubbing on the skin of my ankle or squeaking when I walk. These boots don't do any of those, they are very comfy and warm. The first shoes I don't feel the need to have to break into because they already feel comfortable. I live in the desert so the fleece might be a concern but that's just a personal issue but I think the fleece really helps with the comfort because most boots tend to rub against me and leave rashes but these feel like I am just walking on a cloud :)
