I use this very nice, wide carry on my solitary suitcase for many trips, including Europe for 2 weeks. Due to the front load possibility, you can get boots/shoes as well as a lot of clothes inside. You can also divide it into two compartments, which allow you to use the very nice included garment bag for wrinkle prone garments (buy the Tumi hangers!) So heavy that cannot be lifted into an overhead bin by a strong, 57 year old woman. Also, hard to carry up and down the stairs. I am not an overpacker at all but now have a very expensive bag that I cannot return and I cannot use.

While there is an investment to get this kind of quality, it is worth every penny. The design has so many compartments and access points, that getting to the various sections is a breeze. Best piece of luggage we own.
