I am giving this headboard 5 stars because of the excellent quality. It is much nicer than I ever expected, considering I didn't think it was very expensive. If I was going to rate the assembly directions and diagram however, that would definitely fail! We found them very hard to understand… We ordered this headboard in a full/double size. It's heavy and extremely well made. The tufting and the buttons are perfectly lined up and even. The packaging for the shipping was well done. The wooden supports lined up perfectly with our full/double metal bedframe. We are extremely happy with this purchase.

Once I got over not having any instructions and not getting help from the company, everything was good. It was easier than I thought. It was put up without being connected to my bed. It's beautiful and I have received many compliments on It's beauty. I would have liked the legs to be painted or stained. But they don't show.

This is a great headboard for our bed! It is just the right size for our room, not huge or too small. The coloring is a bit more blueish than gray, but it blends in fine with my comforter and curtains. It has the soft feel if an arm hits it at night. It is a great value for the price. Would purchase again if needed.

Updated from 2 to 4 stars. Seller contacted us to make things right. We appreciate the communication. The headboard did appear to be sturdy, we would have been happy to use it if I liked the color. All parts were in the package and the box arrived in good shape. Orig: We did not actually put this together to use on our bed. The black is very dull. There is no life to this headboard. It would stand out in our room as an unwanted blob. Returning it costs $258 by UPS. We will be donating. I cannot speak to quality of construction as all we did is remove it from the plastic.
