    • Wow are these bright.

I got 2 sets of these a total of 4 lights. I put them all around my house. They are incredibly bright. I live in the mountains and at night there is no light. My cameras need some light to be able to pick things up. So adding these around the house made it so i pick up all the wild life that come through my property. The motion detection is good enough. Better than my cameras but not better than the flood lights on the house. I have these mounted in the yard away from the house where there is no power. They are perfect for that. Where i placed them they dont get full sun but for a hour or two during the day and that is enough for them to work all the time. I have not had one day since i got them that they didnt come on full blast in the mornings. When i say full blast i mean it. When i walk the property in the mornings i can see all the way to the stree with them and they light up all the trees too. I get over 100 feet of light out of them. With them being so portable i have moved them several times to get the coverage that i wanted. Now there is no spots where critters can hide from me or my cameras. I would recommend getting a couple they work fine by themselves but they are so cheap compared to the floodlights on the house that even with 4 i am not even half the cost of the flood lights. I did have one problem. I did a poor job of mounting one of them on a tree, it did not latch properly and fell off one night and hit the ground, the plastic screen over the light broke. I was worried that the water getting inside would ruin the light but it has been months since that happened and it is still working fine. Really impressed with how they have held up. ... show more

I have installed four of these lights around my home and have recommended them to my neighbors. They are easy to install (two screws) and work great. They come with a remote control, (which I probably won't use) with three options: lights stay on in the dark, low lights stay on but are triggered by motion to turn bright, and lastly lights are off til motion turns them on brightly for around 30 seconds. I've tested them at night from nearly 20 feet away and they turn on immediately. I'm 100% happy with these lights, plus the price was right. ... show more

Pro: The right price, easy to install, bright and decent detection, and a remote for each light (works on all) so you can force the lights to stay on while you are outside with your dog for example. Con: 1. The solar panel is very limited in movement and could be a problem for some depending on location of mounting; it was ok for me. 2. There are 3 modes and none of them are ideal. Mode one only stays on for 30 seconds unless you are walking in the sensor range, mode 2 is the same but it goes dim after 30 second which is useless, and mode 3 stays on for 4 hours which is excessive. I wanted to be able to stand outside while my dog goes to the bathroom and I end up standing in the dark unless I use the remote to put it in "on" mode. This works but a 5 minute mode would make this a perfect light. ... show more

I’ve purchased four of these. I have been very impressed with them. They charge easily in full sun and have a decently sensitive motion detector. I have them set to turn on only in the presence of motion, so I can’t speak to the other two settings available; but for my own purposes and settings, these lights are perfect. They were easy to install, and i was impressed with how far out the motion sensor picks up motion.
