First pair of shoes so I have nothing to compare with. I used them multiple times this past winter and I love them! I have weak ankles and after reading reviews on multiple different shoes, I was concerned this might be an issue. My ankles were fine. Very little stress put on them. Easy to maneuver in the snow. Only issue I have is that they are a little difficult to put on. I'm not as flexible as I used to be and the heel strap is difficult to fasten with all the layers of clothes. Walked across the highway with them and was worried that the crampons would get damaged but they held up great. Overall they are very durable and comfortable shoes. I would definitely recommend getting a pair for the winter. ... show more

Buckle broke the second time I tried to use them. Now what?! Can't use them if it won't stay on my foot! Got them in Oct used them once at Thanksgiving then going to use them again and broken. It's Dec, passed my return date.

This is my second pair of Tubbs. The first pair were amazing - These are AWFUL, wore them 1x and they kept slipping off of my foot, no matter how many times I adjusted the straps. Cheap and worthless. Don't buy.
