    • Great Snowshoes
Color: Green Size: 36
I have owned and used a pair of MSR Lightening 30” snowshoes with extensions for years. I hated the Lightening straps to secure my boots. Half of my workouts were dealing with all of the straps. Note: The newest Lightening model has moved away from the straps, but their design for securing the boots are not as durable. I gave up on MSR and recently purchased the Tubbs Mountaineer 36” snowshoes. The Mountaineers have better floatation, slightly lighter, much easier to get on and off, better grip in the snow, particularly when climbing, much better boot fitting. The construction is great too. The Tubbs Mountaineer snowshoes have been around for awhile with little modifications. Now I know why. ... show more

    • Love the binding mechanism
Color: Green Size: 30
I purchased this product for use with ski boots. Yes I know, that may seem a bit odd, but I wanted to snowshoe up the mountain and ski down. The bindings are excellent and allow for use of full size ski boot. Extremely comfortable. The heel piece makes ascents much easier. I am 6’1” 205 and these had good float in waist deep Utah snow. I did consider if I should have purchased the 36” version and while the float would have been even better, I’m not sure that would be worth sacrificing some dexterity in the larger version. Very happy with the product. ... show more

    • Fast, efficient service and shipping
Color: Green Size: 30
My husband had a pair of these snowshoes stolen recently. I immediately went to amazon to find a new pair for him because he loves these shoes. They are perfect for our type of snowshoeing, which is back country, in deep snow. These are a tad newer version then the ones he had so the bindings are a little different, but he'll get that figured out. ... show more

    • Exceptional Service
Color: Green Size: 36
Exceptional customer service from GRITR (WEBY CORP) I reached out by phone for an invoice, spoke with Jeff, had invoice in my email before I even got off the phone!! Would highly recommend the TUBBS WILDERNESS, especially if you have huge insulated boots - very easy on and off! I also have tubs Flex and Panoramic, they are all great snowshoes, I use them daily weather permitting season here is nearly 3 months! My favorite winter excercise. ... show more

    • Great snowshoe
Color: Green Size: 25
Like the ease of getting these shoes on and off saw with other Tubbs. Well constructed with good grab on steep inclines. If using for deep snow make sure you order the appropriate length for your weight. Nice looking shoe. With a little research and good timing you can get a good deal on these shoes unlike other ones. ... show more

    • All about bindings.
Color: Green Size: 25
I have a couple sizes of these for different situations. Work great. For me, so much depends on the functionality of the bindings. These are easy and strong. The teeth on the bottom are great. I like to climb - not technically - and these dig in and hold on slopes going up or down. Only drawback is I have not found a way to replace bindings. All things wear out eventually. Not to say it can’t be done, but if that’s important to you, investigate. They are durable though. One of my pairs is second hand and I have been working them hard for 6 years. ... show more

    • Wickedly good!
Color: Green Size: 25
While this is only the third pair of snowshoes I have worn, it will probably be the last! This has very aggressive "tread" on the bottom, giving me assurance on any type of terrain. I also love the toe box strapping mechanism - so easy and secure. They are light weight and the pivot points make me feel like I'm just walking normally. What's not to like?! ... show more

    • Beautiful color, perfect functionality
Color: Purple Size: 25
These snowshoes are not only beautiful, but function fantastically! I needed to replace my tired 10-year old snowshoes, also Tubbs, with a newer pair meant for backcountry hiking. After reading many reviews, I went with Tubbs hoping they will last just as long as my new pair. The snowshoes arrive earlier than the initial shipping notification (win!), and were boxed nicely. The color is beautiful, and although I am not “girly-girl” I am loving the vibrant purple. The crampons are amazing, and the heel lift awesome. The heel lift is difficult to put back down, but I anticipate over time, it will become easier. Awesome product! ... show more
