We recently used these TSA-accepted combination travel locks on a week-long trip, and it worked perfectly! Setting my own combination was quick and straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. I really liked not having to worry about keeping track of a tiny key—just dial the code and you're in. The build feels solid and durable, but it’s also lightweight enough that it doesn’t add bulk to your luggage. We used them on our checked suitcases and it gave us peace of mind knowing that TSA could inspect my luggage without breaking the lock. One of the things I appreciated most was the smooth dials—they don’t feel flimsy or loose like cheaper locks I’ve used in the past. I found the directions a bit confusing, called the number listed and found a pleasant representative to walk me through it who also sent a video. Once you understand how to set it, it is pretty straightforward, however, I somehow messed up on the first lock and never could get it opened again and apparently it can't be reset, so that one went into the trash. It would be nice if they would have posted to be very careful because you only get one chance at it. Otherwise, the locks are well made, easy to read and maneuver, and did a great job. ... show more

The product worked amazing. I did not use it at TSA so Im unable to address if it works for TSA. I did use it for EDC Vegas where I have to go in and out of my water backpack and it was extremely easy to use. Really easy to set your desired combo. Very good quality, smooth operating number selectors. Used this lock for securing outdoor storage box which has a small lock hole. This allows plenty of flexibility to feed the cable through and lock securely.
