I live in a restored 1930's apartment building but the area under my sink was an eyesore when I moved in. I store a lot of cleaning products under there as well. Not only does this mat add some protection and functionality to that area, but it's certainly improved the appearance of the previously stained and painted plank underneath. While the mat turned out to be slightly thinner than my expectations, its look and feel seem to be pretty durable. There also a small lip along all the edges, which not only serves as a barrier, containing any potential leaks or spills from seeping onto the kitchen floor but also acts as a safeguard against corrosion and damage to the wood underneath. Measuring 28x22 inches, the mat fits snugly around the perimeter beneath my sink, providing near-perfect coverage. Though it may be a tad wide in the very back by about two inches, it still easily lays flat. Overall, the silicone mat has proven to be a practical and aesthetically pleasing addition to my kitchen, addressing both the practical and visual aspects of the under-sink area.

This is a simple product, you clear out under the sink, put this down and put cleaning supplies back on top done. it has a small about 1 inch raised lip all the way around it, so if any of your cleaning stuff leaks it will hold it with out damaging the cabinet. I got this because we have had horrible luck with slow leaks damaging cabinets under the sink quite a few times. Even after checking plumping myself, and having a professional replace everything. So we are a bit paranoid about losing our new cabinets so slap this down, and in theory we it should hold the slow leaks long enough for use to notice its happening and not damage the cabinets. The mat works great, its kinda thin so it takes up no room, it does hold its shape once u get it out of the box though. It is large enough to cover almost the entire bottom of the cabinet, definitely covers under all the plumbing. i Kinda wish it was a bit thicker and sturdier, but then it might be hard to flex into place. i pretty sure it could be thinker though. only reason i took a star off. More colors might also be nice for some.

I have a reverse osmosis filter setup under my sink, and even though it is in a plastic tub, I am worried about spills, especially from slow leaks after filter changes. Plus, years of using the area under the sink for storing chemicals and even grease jars have turned the surface into a stained crater scape, so instead of days of sanding and grain filling and sanding and priming and painting, I decided to put this nice mat in as a visible upgrade over even a perfectly fine cabinet floor. I like the low spill protection lip that has small extensions to keep the lip upright. The entire mat is so flexible, they had to reinforce those edges and the engineering behind it seems to work well. The surface is a nice pattern and easy to wipe clean. It fits perfectly into my 3 foot wide standard counter depth cabinet under the sink. There are many other uses for this large mat, like a place to put several pairs of wet winter boots from the entire family. It will hold the melt water in and wash out easily.

This under the sink mat came well packaged. As soon as I opened the package I knew this would be an item that would do two things. One, bring some order to all the stuff I have under the sink; secondly and most importantly, is a protection should you get a leak under the sink. This mat appears to be made to fit a standard size under the sink which is 28" x 22." I laid it out in front of doors to under the sink and will place it when I have more time but didn't want to delay the review. The mat is made of flexible silicone so it is easy to clean. A very useful item to have under a sink.

I'm doing a lot of reorganization and spring cleaning, and this "Under Sink Mat 28" x 22" Waterproof Silicone" was exactly what I needed for under my kitchen sink. Silicone, so easy to clean. There's a edge to contain liquid spills and leaks, but the whole thing is flexible enough (see photo) that you could still use it if there is a pipe or something sticking out on the floor of the cabinet. I actually like that it's lightweight so that it's not a battle to get it in and out of the cabinet. It's not going to contain a major leak because the sides are not rigid; it's more to protect from smaller drips and chemical spills. No weird scent out of the package. I could see this being used in a bunch of ways...doing crafts, gardening or trimming herbs, even something like a travel mat in the car for your puppy. The current list price of $16.99 seems fine for what you get...I've seen under sink mats with much higher price tags.

The mat is made of a soft rubbery material that will bend nicely to fit around the pipes under your sink. There is a lip around the edges to contain spills. I have an area under my sink that water drips through occasionally and makes a bit of a mess. This handles the issue perfectly until I replace my sink. Will be easy to take out and clean when necessary and looks neat when in use.
