I've been using frameless readers because I like the look. Unfortunately the frameless are delicate and don't last a year even with great care. Screws always loosen up and easily break if I try to to tighten. These glasses are well built and MUCH sturdier. I can see these lasting a lot longer. These will get replaced when I scratch the lens, NOT when the frames break. Added bonus - while I don't find them particularly stylish, the wife says they look better than the frameless. ... show more

Great value, well made with spring hinges, and conveniently these glasses don't care which side folds first. Excellent optical design. Cheap readers often distort peripheral vision, but these lenses have no discernable distortions, which is outstanding at this price point. The cloth bags provided are a welcome addition. Maybe these won't get scratched up like the glasses they are replacing. The only negative is the edges of the lenses are not beveled or chamfered. The corners are sharp and quickly irritate any skin they touch. This is only a problem when worn low on the nose to look over the glasses. They're very comfortable when worn properly. ... show more

I bought these to replace some blue tinted lenses sold to reduce computer screen glare but did not work for me. These glasses work perfectly and I'm extremely happy with them. An added bonus is the metal frames are easy to adjust and once adjusted keep their shape unlike plastic frames which tend to revert to their original shape. ... show more
