These light weight glasses are clear, comfortable and beautifully well-made. They have flexible, hinges, and are snug, but not too snug. They do not slide down my nose, and I can lay back and read without the arms of the glasses bumping my headrest and getting crooked. These are the most perfectly proportioned readers that I have ordered online. Most of the arms of readers I have ordered are too long and project beyond the backs of my ears, making them uncomfortable while I lay down to read. These are the perfect length behind my ears, and so comfortable I don’t even know I have them on . I will order them again in a different color. I ordered the tortoise and they are gorgeous.

I was looking for reading sunglasses so I gave these a try. The price was right and I was able to get the strength needed. Admittedly, the frames don't feel sturdy so I'm unsure how they'll hold up over time. What I do love about them is that the reading lens is clear with no distortion. That's not usually the case and I've tried many different brands over the years. The glasses are very light weight and fit comfortably on the face. I would highly recommend even though I don't know how durable they are. I like them just for the lenses alone.

These glasses are so noisy. They squeak and creak when adjusting them on my face. They don't feel solidly built. It feels like the frame around the lenses could snap easily. I haven't broken them yet, but ordering another brand for when the inevitable happens. The lenses seem clear and durable, but the noisy frames don't allow me to recommend these glasses.

I'm writing this review "one month after receiving my order"... and so far for me, this is a true 5-star purchase. Given that my contact lenses bring me to crystal clear, better than 20-20 vision, I still need readers while in my office. So wearing these almost all the time when working, the first thing that impressed me when putting them on was the comfort. The nose bridge is an integrated-molding area that smoothly rests on the nose, with minimal weight and no typical "metal-wire-bridge pain." Additionally, the frame and arms appear very clean and functional. An added plus are the hinges; frame to side-arms. They are the newer spring-loaded design, whereby you can safely "over-flex" outward with the arms, thus preventing typical damage that you'd cause with stiff, fixed open-position frames. As others have noted, the lenses are plastic. But that, I'm sure, is consistent with the reduced weight goal of the manufacturer. So far, and the real test, was to see how long the lenses would remain un-scathed/un-scratched. And after 30 days of constant use, and in and out of my shirt pockets, NO SCRATCHES... optically they're still perfectly clear. I clean with hot water and hand soap. And I take extra-care in avoiding placing the glasses down on or against anything other than in a soft shirt pocket. Both pair do come with a black satchel for storage. So far I've taken only one pair out of the satchel, and use it daily, storing in my shirt pocket, and then at night, safely lenses up on the night table. I've almost always started to see scratching on my prescription glasses and on readers within the first month. For whatever reason, these are still "like new." When I think of how many readers I've purchased over the years, I honestly wish I'd purchased these at the outset. But hindsight is always 20-20... These readers, coupled with my contacts, make a perfect eye-care pair. I highly recommend them.

I have reading glasses all over the place. I tried a couple of brands that were slightly cheaper and they didn’t hold up - usually the bridge on the nose cracked or the lenses would pop out. When I’m working I put my glasses on and off a lot, and I’d go through a pair a month at least. Then I bought these - the first pairs that I bought lasted well over a year, even the ones I used for work. I’m a repeat buyer, and won’t buy anything else. I do like the look of them - the coloring doesn’t clash with anything I’m wearing.
