I just bought these. They are lightweight and seem sturdy. They hold on very well despite not being able to adjustment the nose grips. The spring hinges are quite strong. I have owned many brands. My vision with these readers seem as clear or better then any reading glasses I have ever used. Time will tell, If they are reliable. I will try these for a while before I decide to buy more. I deducted 1 star because they sent me the wrong size from my order. The 2.25 strength I received seem just as good or better than the 2.5's from my many Foster Grant readers. ... show more

The frames are sturdy and attractive. The spring hinges are durable and very useful when taking these off and on, often, as required. I require correction for astigmatism and these glasses still functioned almost perfectly. They would be perfect for everyday use if one doesn't require that extra correction. As is, I will be saving them for emergency use. Just make certain you get the correct power of the lenses right and you will be good to go. ... show more

I recently switched to contacts at my wife's request. After which I quickly found that I can see a flea 4 blocks away but can't see my cell phone at arms length. My eye doctor recommended reading glasses, I scoffed as I got contacts to reduce my need for glasses in the first place. I have in and started shipping for glasses at local pharmacy type stores and was very disappointed in the selection. They were too tight, some were not long enough for my big head. Some of the lenses had a cloudy hue when wearing. I skipped on Amazon and found these. A 2 pack for about 15$ after spending 12$ a pair! I ordered right away. They arrived about 2 days later and I love them. They fit perfectly, the lenses are clear and sharp. They are very light weight and comfortable.
