So, I generally play an expensive 4 piece, brand name golf ball. I simply had not found a lower cost ball that I liked to take it's place. These just might do that. I have a slower swing speed and a search for balls to fit that led me to the Trust Bison Soft. I was skeptical because it is a 3 piece ball and I have grown used to the feel of 4 piece ones. The feel on this ball is comparable to my 4 piece. They handle well around the green too. Off the tee they have a nice flight and even sound good. Appearance-wise the pearl finish is nice - just different enough to make it easy to spot. They are a soft cover so they do scuff a bit. Smacking it off a tree probably added to that though. Not the least expensive ball but worthy as an alternative to my usual ball. ... show more

Pretty good golf ball in all respects. Easy to control with the driver, mid high flight, good roll out. Putts true. But still prefer Titleist True Feel or Callaway ERC Soft. I like to try new golf products, and have experimented with several of the main manufacturer offerings in golf balls from TaylorMade, Srixon, and the aforementioned. And the one ball I can honestly say is superior (for a senior golfer, at least) is the Callaway ERC Soft Triple Track. On solid contact with the driver, hybrid, or iron, it ALWAYS goes about 20 yards further, to the extent that when using it for approach shots, I often have to go one club lower to NOT run over the green. Fellow senior golf partners have observed, and also are playing the ERC. Not a negative on Trust, it's good. But ERC surpasses it in every respect, including putter alignment. ... show more

Tried the balls for the first time in an 18 hole golf round. Ball feels pretty good at contact, flight, spin etc are good. Durability is the problem. Two balls were visibly scratched with club contact alone (and I am definitely not the fastest swing in town). The glossy finish makes the balls easy to find ... show more

I purchased these as a test for my own enjoyment. I have been happy with how well they play. I do not expect to buy a dozen golf balls and be so fortunate as to use just one for the rest of my life. These balls will scar if they hit a tree or cart path but all balls will. These balls do seem to scar more readily than golf balls priced twice their cost. I do not care. I am never sure how often one ball should be used before I discard it. Ball speed off of my club face is excellent and spin into the green is excellent too. My swing speed is near to 89 MPH and these balls work well for me. ... show more
