I bought this along with a few other tools to replace my cheap tools that broke after one season! These are made to last! This particular tool is heavier than my other rake - the teeth are solid and forged! - but you will be raking with this for years to come! The teeth are strong enough to rake through rocks/pebbles and I have already used it for leaves, raking winter covers and other debris from my flower beds. I only used it a couple of times now, but it is made well, and I expect it to last for years to come. Not too heavy, not too light. I like the bright yellow so it is easy to see on the lawn. This is definitely a very heavy duty rake that is constructed to a higher tolerance compared to the cheap rakes you purchase at the big box stores. The only complaint I have is the joint where the actual rake is connected to the pole. This seems to be the weakest link which kind of defeats the point of overbuilding the rest of the rake. I don't know the technical name for this portion of the rake but upon inspection it looks like its held together with a glued piece of wood (which is odd due to the fiberglass construction of the handle) It's not a deal breaker by any means, however I feel it should be noted. Update: I have used this rake regularly for almost 3 years now with zero problems. It has held up very well with the abuse I put it through (I live rural on several acres and do quite a bit of work with this rake). ... show more
