I ordered these to protect my exposed arms from a poncho I wear when walking my daughter's dogs in the rain. However something to consider is they do not breath so condensation in cold rainy weather causes the sleeves of my coat to get just as wet as if I didn't wear the protection. Catch 22 lol. Other wise they work just fine for protection. I will have to try them in warmer weather to see if there is still condensation so I will have to write an update then.

These sleeves were purchased for use by a hair stylist. They are perfect to protect the stylist’s arms and clothing while shampooing and applying color to a customer’s hair. The sleeves are durable and reusable. A very good value for their cost.

I feel sort of silly when I use these for dishwashing, but I have a habit of getting my sleeves wet otherwise. These are functional, not fashionable!

Nice thick material for mixing lye so my arms don't sting from the vapors or getting soap batter accidentally on my arms. Easy to take on and off and elastic isn't tight so it doesn't squeeze my arms yet they stay in place. easy to wipe and reuse.

I wear these protective sleeves when during wet lapidary work. It provides protection past my elbows and is sturdy enough that I reuse them many times before discarding.
