What is the difference between the Tech Line (TLine) WerkPants? The key differences come down to climate and performance needs. Our T1s are best for hot climates; our T2s are best for three-season wear (mild to cool temps, wind & rain); our T3s are best for cold weather and extreme conditions. What should I do if I'm in between sizes? Consider sizing up if you are in-between sizes, as our waistband fit is more structured compared to the flexibility and stretch in the other areas of the pants. • **Title:** Perfect for Work... and the Occasional Grizzly Bear
Size: 36W x 32L Color: Deep Grey
I've gone through a lot of work pants over the years, and these are easily some of the best I've owned. They're lightweight, breathable, and the stretch is fantastic. Whether I'm climbing, squatting, kneeling, or constantly moving around at work, they never feel restrictive. They stay comfortable all day and seem to be holding up really well. I originally bought them for work, but they're also ideal for the occasional grizzly bear wrestling match. The flexibility definitely comes in handy when negotiating with wildlife. On the rare days I'm not battling bears, they're just excellent everyday work pants. If you want comfortable, durable pants that move with you instead of against you, these are an easy five-star purchase. ... show more

  • Spendy but worth the money for quality pants
Size: 36W x 34L Color: Olive
I bought these pants for my son. He put them on the day they arrived and loves them. They are very comfortable with enough pockets to hold tools, phone wallet etc. the sizes were accurate he is 6’4” and wears a 36x34 that fit great. As far as durability goes only time will tell, but they feel and look like they would wear well. They are a little pricey but worth it if they serve the purpose and last long. ... show more

  • Great pants
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Deep Grey
I bought these for hiking and took them on our big trip to the national parks in the Pacific Northwest and they did not disappoint! They are very comfortable, fit true to size, are water resistant (yes, it did rain one day) and easy care. They pack well and do not wrinkle, even after repeated repacks as we moved from park to park. Temps were in the 50's in the morning, upper 60's to low 70's in the afternoon and they did not make me sweat. I love all the pockets, particularly the velcro pocket on the left leg which is perfect for my cell phone. It fits perfectly and is easy to access, even when sitting down. The zippered pocket on the right works great to hold my credit card/ID wallet and keep it safe from pick pockets. ... show more

  • The Best Work Pants I’ve Ever Owned—Perfect for HVAC Service Work I
Size: 34W x 30L Color: Black
Title: My Go-To Work Pants for Mild and Changing Weather I’m a residential HVAC service technician, so I need work pants that provide plenty of storage, allow me to move freely, and still look professional when I enter a customer’s home. After having such a great experience with the lightweight TRUEWERK T1 pants during hot summer weather, I decided to buy the T2 version for those in-between days when it isn’t especially hot or cold. The T2 pants deliver the same excellent pocket layout, flexibility, and professional appearance I love about the T1, but with a little more substance and protection. They are ideal for spring, fall, cooler mornings, and mild days when summer pants feel too light but insulated winter pants would be too warm. The four-way stretch makes it easy to kneel, climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces, and work around HVAC equipment without feeling restricted. The pockets are extremely well designed and give me room for my phone, tools, vape juice, and other everyday items without making the pants feel bulky. They also perform very well in wet weather. The material sheds water much better than traditional work pants, so a little rain doesn’t leave me feeling soaked and uncomfortable for the rest of the service call. The professional appearance is another major benefit. As a service technician entering customers’ homes, I believe looking clean and put-together affects how people perceive both me and the quality of my work. These pants look considerably sharper than most cargo-style work pants while still giving me all the functionality I need. The T2 has become my go-to TRUEWERK pant for moderate weather. If the T1 is the summer option, the T2 is the perfect all-around option for everything between extreme heat and winter cold. They cost more than ordinary work pants, but the comfort, pocket design, mobility, weather resistance, and professional appearance make them worth it. These are some of the best work pants I have ever owned. ... show more

  • The PRICE SUCKS...BUT...
Size: 36W x 30L Color: Navy
Really comfortable, dry quickly (i work on a lot of sprinklers) and lightweight. Big improvement over a different type of heavy duty work pants i was using prior. Price? 👎🏻. I really wish these could be $10-$15 less expensive. I need like 5 pairs but can't afford that many. While i really like them so far, Im skeptical about how durable they are and how long the knees will last. I'm up and down a lot doing maintenance so we'll see. I'll update here when they rip or impress me further. Whichever comes first haha🤣 ... show more

  • These pants are the best!
Size: 32W x 32L Color: Olive
If I were forced to choose only one pair of pants to wear every day for the rest of my life, these would be my choice in a second. They're extremely durable and still look presentable after abuse. Though they are marketed for blue-collar labor, they're great for just about anything. I have all 3 fabric weights (T1, T2, T3) and find the T1 to be the most comfortable and versatile. Worth every penny. ... show more

  • Great pockets, nice color, price is OK, well-sewn seams, but too early to say on fabric durability
Size: 34W x 34L Color: Sand
Slightly pricey for what it is, but still 5 star. Fit: Who am I kidding, I am a 36W. Used to be a 34. However, I purchased these in 34. Was a good call given that they loosen up (loosened up the first day). The double button is interesting but overall ambivalent about it. Since my belly is slightly larger than normal, it pushes on the buttons slightly, causing the corner of the fabric to poke me a bit. No problem, that will loosen up as the fabric/seams get worn in. I do believe a 36 would be too big for me still. Pros: Well-designed pockets. Loving the phone pocket. Reinforced/double seam is a must and it looks decent. I love the fit in the calves. Some work pants are too loose, and slim fits and fitteds can be too tight. This rides that line perfectly. The stretch is awesome and it doesn't feel like it is pulling too much in any direction. Mobility is good. Other folks complained about how noisy they are, but that may have been referencing the T2s? These are noisier than my Prana pants, but not enough to worry about. Cons: Adding a second piece of fabric to reinforce around the boot would be a plus. I am 50/50 on the price point. The only reason why I say this is because I have owned two pairs of Prana pants that I have worn heavily for 10 years. They serve different purposes so this isn't a functional comparison (pockets etc), but those two pairs are patched up but never needed to re-sew the seams. And the fabric does not tear like cotton would. If there is a hole, it stays a hole and is not ever-expanding. I am hopeful the Truewerks will be similar, but the fabric feels slightly less resilient. But for double the price of a similar version from wrangler, which has single stitching, I'd pay for the Truewerk. Conclusions: For working, these are awesome. I will stick with these for my home reno projects and working in the woods. ... show more
