Amazon delivery is AMAZING! Why cant UPS deliver as efficiently as Amazon??? I bought this for my daughter who is overcoming some neurological challenges and now requires sensory and motor skills devices to assist with her therapy. We brought this Coordination / Balance device in to her physical and occupational therapist who both said its perfect for working on motor skills as well as body / space sensors. I tell you, its challenging for me and the therapists, but its doable! Lots of fun and passes time well. We challenge one another now that she's home with us again. We believe this will only add another positive tool to her recovery efforts. The wooden disks are staked on top of one another and separated by what sounds like bearings. The disks slide effortlessly making it a challenge but will sit on "dimples" once aligned until the user either moves too quickly or is out of vertical alignment. I think this balance toy will definitely outlast her rehab as it feels very well constructed. The wood handle is smooth and fits well in my adult sized man hands as well as my young nephew's.

I recently learned about these from a friend. I enjoyed playing with it for a while and thought it would be nice to have my own. Unfortunately the one I received was quite lower quality than the one my friend has. The wood feels flimsy, one of the bearings that the discs rotate around likes to get stuck, and some of the magnets are too weak that they won't help the one above stay at all. These are supposed to be changing, but I had plenty of fun with one the other day. This one has too many flaws that it crossing the line of not being fun anymore with how challenging it is. Especially for anyone who has never solved one previously. Will be returning. Wouldn't recommend this one.

It’s also a conversation piece or ice breaker for when people come over. I have various puzzles and brain teases around the common areas of my home, it helps put people at ease when they come over for a visit. I like this piece because it’s wood, and I wanted to make sure to have some wood pieces and some metal pieces. The shape of it is really quite awkward, so I store it inside a drawer, but it often makes it’s way out and never really gets old.

The True Balance Coordination game tool is amazing. I have gifted one to my Pulmonary Doctor. The Grandchildren love to play with it. For my Pulmonary Doctor, on an annual basis, I am called in to do a "5-minute walk". This begins with sitting without oxygen for two minutes in a room quietly. But my oxygen drops when I focus, such as reading a book or creating something. The focused attention with this tool showed my Doctors that Focus attention lowers my oxygen to 86 by the time they entered the room. The Doctor removed the pulse-ox from my finger, the tool from my hand, and put the oxygen to my nose. He said, sit there a minute. I did, then I realized, he was seeing if the same thing happened to him. It did not. I did it again, even talking to him while I was doing it and my oxygen level dropped quicker. I know mothers who use this as a tool with their children that are on the spectrum.
