I use this light bar because my bikes block brake lights and signal lights when they are on the bike rack. I have researched actual light bars made for bike racks, but they all run in the $150-$200 range. This light bar works beautifully. I like that it is firm, and not flexible. It is very bright, and when I zip tie it to my bikes, it is stable. The only issue, as I noticed, and also see mentioned in other comments, is the connection where the light connects to the wire is weak. Also, the 4 pin connector is not long enough to reach my connector on my car, so I also ordered the 59 inch 4 pin trailor wire extension. That allows me to connect the light without putting tension on the weak connection point. I just wrap the excess around my bike rack. I have traveled with my bike, and hit rain. The light continues to work. And I feel very safe with my bikes on the rack, knowing my driving intentions are very well displayed. I have had this light bar since May 2023, and use it just about every weekend, and as I mentioned earlier, took a few trips with it. BTW, I also ordered the reusable zip ties. This allows me to put them on and take them off the light bar easily. I wrap 4 around the bike and light bar that keeps it snug, and secure. For any of my fellow bike riders looking for an affordable alternative to a "bike light bar", I hope this helps.

The media could not be loaded. This light bar has great sequential turn signals and flashers, running lights, brake lights, and even backup lights. You have to run a separate wire to your truck's backup lights, but everything else works through a standard flat 4-pole connector. They provide a long harness if you need to install a connector, as well as clips if you want to install using that method. The adhesive that comes with it is very strong (be sure you have it in the right place, because I didn't, and it's hard to get off!). I had a problem with it over a year after purchasing, and True Mods, the vendor, was excellent. They responded quickly to my question, and communicated via email when it was easier. Highly recommend this light bar.

Bought two sets of these lights and stacked them on top of each other. The the two sets sync up pretty well on turn signaling, making them look like one unit. That tells us the electronic components are of fairly decent quality, with little to no deviation in resistance and specs. So far, the lights have been through an 8 hour non-stop rain storm (I was traveling in the direction of the storm), and no water ingress issues. We'll see how long that lasts. The mounting brackets come with double sided tape on the backside (the side that mounts to the vehicle), allowing the brackets to stay in place and lined up while fastening them. The tape isn't exactly 3M, but for the initial purpose, it was fine. Also added some double sided tape to the outside of the brackets, between the bracket and the lights. The screws that come with the lights are two steps above absolutely useless. Sure, they're self tapping, but as soon as the threads start to bite, the head(s) snap off. Drilling some pilot holes first was the key.

a lot of modifications to install on a ram 1500 dt, but it does say for Ford 150, this is a really cool light bar, but if you try to install on a new Ram, there is no flat surface to install, so modification is required

I spent about a day and a half trying to install this so called plug and play product. The written instructions was vague about the installation process so I went on YouTube to try to find this product and could not find it. Watched to numerous videos of our products and the installation process was all over the place with splicing wires, wiring the backup light function to a wire connection thru the brake/backup light assembly on my truck. Most of the instructors were from the auto repair industry and all of them complained that the manufacturers guidance of how to properly install their light bars was not that informative. I tried to call TrueMods, the product manufacturer and no real answer just some BS about being under staff. Went to the website and found a help tab and started to mentioned the issues I was having but no real help. So what I got to work on the unit is the right & left turn signs and the back up light. As for the brake light function its not working. In addition, what's really disturbing is that I'm getting messages on my display screen saying "a trailer is connected to the vehicle" and then its disconnected to the vehicle. I'm concerned this product is sending mixed indicators to the on board computer and now I'm concerned with a vehicle malfunction. This company needs to produce a YouTube video of how to install their light bar product. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT AND A LET DOWN BY NOT HAVING THE PROPER SUPPORT. IF I COULD UNINSTALL THIS PRODUCT AND SEND IT BACK I WOULD.

3 times a charm this is a great led tailgate strip lights i have one on both my truck and expedition suv 1st one came perfect 3years old and working perfect 2 nd one had to order 3 times usps damaged 1st broken during shipping 2nd one lost in shipping 3rd one perfect and was delivered by amazon i wish all my orders were delivered by amazon great customer service USPS is terrible at shipping wish i had a choice for shipping with amazon would gladly pay for shipping ! just to get my orders in one piece anyway this is a really good long lasting light highly recommended and i have tried many different ones
