I wanted these mostly for melting butter in the microwave. I was tired of using our old plastic ramekins we acquired from our restaurant days. These are incredibly sturdy, easy to clean and the perfect size for what we wanted. I’ve also used them for dipping sauces & when I mix seasonings. I haven't actually used them for baking, I use them to hold dipping sauces and to melt butter in the microwave. They work great and are easy to clean.
