These are fantastic work boots! I previously owned Muck brand boots, and while they lasted a long time before the sole began to peel away from the bottom, they didn’t have any traction. But these TruDave boots have fantastic tread! They work wonderfully for shoveling snow on uneven terrain in the Minnesota winters. They’re also by-far my warmest winter boot. My feet actually stay warm in these even in sub-zero temperatures. I feel comfortable walking on snow and ice with them when taking my dogs for a walk - very good slip resistance. As far as the size goes, I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe and I have long, narrow feet. I ordered the size 9 based on what Amazon recommended for me, and I will say they’re a tad too small, but not small enough for me to return and try a size 10. They're more snug, but not uncomfortable, and I wear socks that are on the thinner size inside of them. Hopefully this helps someone order the right size. ... show more

I have had my boots for about a year and I love them. They are true to size and are comfortable for my wide feet. I love that I can tuck my pants inside of the boots and have a good closure (not loose) around my leg for when I walk in the woods. (Not a tick entrance.) I love the tread and heel. This is a good pair of boots. I have mules and a horse and make a lot of trips to the barn. Lots of dog walks. This winter in PA has been brutal. Deep snow, seriously cold temps.. They keep my feet warm and dry. I put them on a boot dryer at night and they are nice and warm in the morning. True to size. I wear a 7.5, but an 8 in boots to accommodate wool socks and it's perfect fit. Price was good. I'm happy with these boots. I wear them a LOT every day. These may be my favorite outdoor boot ever. I got them just before a snow and ice storm. The boots are warm and super comfortable, and the tread is fabulous! It grips well and feels stable. Also, they are lighter weight than boots I have had in the past. I am curious to see how they wear compared to other outdoor boots. The only con I can find is that they were not offered in half sizes. I usually wear a 7.5, but my feet shift too much in an 8 to be stable. Most comfortable boots ever! Bought in February and worn 7hours 2-3 days a week since. I have a very high arch which also means the top of my foot is higher than average. This is the best boot I have ever worn in my 66 years! Highly recommended.

I use these boots on our cattle ranch. They keep my feet warm in the cold but when it's been 80-90 degrees my feet don't sweat and they feel comfortable. I highly recommended.
