I love searching for new colognes at the rack stores and recently came across the 1956 line at TJ Maxx and really enjoyed them all but I had to have this one. It was $12.99 and I'll go as far as saying it's my best find for the money. I would describe this as a very creamy and slightly warm barbershop scent and the bottle I bought does not smell cheap at all. Its very well blended and just pleasant. The downside is that it doesn't last long but between that and the way it's blended you can go pretty crazy spraying it and it's hard to over do it. I did 7 sprays this morning..some on skin, some on my shirt..and I was still catching whiffs of it around the 5 hour mark and kept thinking "wow that really smells nice". Definitely keep an eye out for this one at the discount stores. It's a very safe buy for anyone who likes that creamy barbershop smell and the little dark kick from the wood notes ties it together nicely. ... show more
