While this has some survival/prepper features that would make it worth putting into a bug-out bag or related pack; it stands alone as a small and versatile gardening tool. The strength of the unit is better than your typical big box or hobbyist garden store tool. The blades will serve well for cutting small roots, saplings or SMALL branches. The compass is small but at least useful for establishing general directions if needed. Finally, the smaller features: Bottle opener, nail puller, socket/wrench, fire starter are all valuable as potential emergency tool. Last but not least is the sheath. It's thin, it's not something I'd carry on the outside of a pack or belt expecting it to hold-up to miles of traversing woods or water, but it protects the blade from cutting and doing damage while handling or packing and is quite adequate for that. As a Vine product reviewer, nobody "buys" a 5-star review- if I see something inferior I will call it out. As I received the product at no charge I am still able to objectively say that I have paid more for inferior products and believe this is a solid tool at a fair price.

This gardening tool is extremely convenient & versatile because of the multi-tool use in one tool. I used this in my garden because I needed to prune some dead foliage, trim back some plants & I needed to plant a few shrubs. Instead of getting out 3 separate tools from my garden shed, I just used this one tool to do the job of 3 separate tools. This is especially handy if you're just starting your garden tool collection; or you don't have the budget to buy very many gardening tools; or even if you don't have the space to store multiple different gardening tools. This multi-use tool does the job of what most basic gardening tools will do. It's convenient & versatile. I highly recommend this as it truly saves you money, saves on storage space and it's less clean up & putting away multiple tools when you're finished up in your garden.

This is a heavy duty trowel, great for digging in hard soil. The depth markings are helpful when planting bulbs. The saw edge is useful in the garden for cutting tough weeds and small branches. the well designed handle is comfortable in your hand with its non slip grip and shape that provides good support for digging. The multi functional aspect of this tool would make it great for camping as it has a bottle opener, peeler, chopping knife, screw and nail remover thingies. The hearth is handy, especially with the sharp teeth on the saw. The material is thick enough to protect well, can be worn on a belt, and has a Velcro loop to prevent the tool from moving.

This is a great garden tool. As an experienced gardener, I can tell you this tool is just perfect for digging, cutting, planted and more gardening tasks. The double serrated blade is a great feature for a tool like this, it will allow you to saw and dig up small tree like plants that try to invade your garden. Great tool to have if you are a gardener!

I like the durability of this tool. I have tried it outside to make sure it works and I have no complaints. Because this one has so many uses, it will be my first choice when I’m unsure what I may need around the house and yard. I am glad it came in its own bag because otherwise I would be afraid of picking it up wrong and cutting myself. A very smart tool.
