The skates appear to have come sharpened, which is a reasonable expectation. The leather on the boot seems VERY durable, but that's also to it's detriment. I think I might have to break out the heat gun to mold this leather a little bit, cause these things are EXTREMELY stiff. Other than that, they look well-made. I'm still skating on my CCM tacks from 1995, but these look like they'll do the job. Not too sure about the comfort level, I don't have high expectations here given the price point and stiffness. But, they seem serviceable. Would definitely recommend to add to your collection for hitting the rink a few times a year to play/pond hockey. ... show more

    • Good quality but pretty loose on the ankle

The shoe is pretty solid but goes a little loose on the ankle even after I tie it as tight as I can which is why I don’t get a firm grip while on the ice. Very nice shoe otherwise.
