Two days later we took my daughter to a man-made outdoor rink that my town supplies every winter for the kids. The skates fit him perfectly! My husband is 6 foot 4 & wears a size 12! When he put the ice skates on he looked about 7 feet. =) The skates were not only a great price, but they are made very well. This skates are literally the best for their price. Don’t believe the bs fake comments. These hockey skates are so comfortable and very nice on the ice. I bought these skates and within 3 weeks of skating lessons I learned how to do a lot of hockey skating techniques. I use these often and they’re my favorite. However these skates are used for speed and have a little less bite on the ice but I love that factor. Also it is best to get them sharpened to your preference. For someone that may ice skate once every two years, I wanted something cheap. This is no $250.00 skate. I have not tried it yet and I am sure there will be comfort issues. But that is ok for the small amount of time I am actually on the ice. The skate is dull, thus you will need to sharpen it. As for size, I take a 10.5 shoe. Thus, in skate size, that is a size 9. My first pair, they were very small. I returned by Amazon and ordered a size 10. It fits great now. I am pleased ... show more

Skates are quite stiff and break-in would have taken awhile I think. I ended up baking mine and then wearing them around the house with skate guards on for a few hours one afternoon, and that did the trick. Google "baking hockey skates" for how to do this. Now they fit perfect and seem very sturdy and well-made, especially for the price. A quick $15 initial sharpening at our rink, and good to go! Unless you play or skate multiple times per week, these are probably perfect for you...I'm a casual once-a-week skater with my son, and couldn't justify hundreds on pro-level skates, these are awesome for me. ... show more

Nice skates for the $. I don't play hockey currently, but these work really well for my weekend skating. Nice support and seem well made. I am usually about a 10.5 sneaker and ordered a 9, which is about normal for a good fit with hockey skates. Might be ok for laid back rec league, but anything more serious I'd go up step or two to a CCM or Bauer vapor. Definitely can't complain for the money. ... show more

Way to small. I'm a size 12 which is what I ordered at first. Super tight, super small, could not even place my feet in there. I returned it and got a size 13 which is the max size here. Still way to small. My toes hurt using these skates. Also, the arch is way to defined. It's a hard plastic shoe so it doesn't mold to your feet, with me being flat footed, this gave me great pain. Also, no cushions in the soles. It's literally a peice of paper. Do not buy this, it's a waste of time and money. Get the real skates and stop being so cheap. ... show more

These skates are awesome!! After some breaking in these skates increase my maneuverability and give me more speed. Yes of course before I bought these skates I hadn't done so in neatly 10 years, so I fell on my butt several times. I'm clearly not anything near a professional by any means, but these skates being hockey ones, I immediately fell into the persona of a hockey player. I started to slam other skaters into the glass, whipping pucks with a makeshift hockey stick down the ice, and checking people. Very shortly I was thrown out. My life started falling into a deep depression and soon I was not allowed in any hockey rink again. Well for the times I did skate I loved these skates and will hopefully be able to continue skating as much as possible. Thank you! ... show more

These Skates are not overly comfortable and the sides dug into my ankle and caused a blister the first time i wore them. They were the cheapest skates that i could find, and were not worn in when i wore them. The blades came pretty sharp and to me fairly decent quality.
