Just got this blade for street hockey and can already tell it's way better than the one I had before. Sturdier and lighter. There are cheaper wood blades on the market, but if you're playing on the pavement they wear down quickly. This blade is a sleek and lightweight upgrade over a standard blade, the quality is obvious to see with the fiberglass pattern visible just under the layer of ABS. The blade was easy enough to install, I had to take care to remove leftover plastic that had gotten stuck to the thin layer of pre-applied adhesive on the hosel; it only took a couple minutes to clean up, add glue, and install. The blade has been great for indoor roller hockey and has been holding up as good as new, aside from a few scuffs, this has been an awesome step up. The Jarvis curve of the blade was easy to get used to, it's easy to control the ball and much more consistent for lifting shots. The blade has done great so far in every aspect and is only a hair larger than my old wooden blade. The durability and performance are great for the price. ... show more

I wish I could give it a positive review but the blade broke within 2 minutes of using it for the first time, it was not rugged enough for hockey, very fragile...40 bucks down the drain

ABS core blades are my go to for playing outdoor roller on smooth concrete. No sense in shredding a nice ice stick and these are much cheaper and last longer. This one is so nice I'll probably use it with a wraparound. I dig the Jarvis curve and should be good for ripping backhanders. This is standard size hardwood shank like all blades of this type and if trying to fit into a tapered shaft I've had great success removing the glue and using a rasp or file to shave a slight taper until proper fit is achieved. ... show more

Needed a good replacement blade that is suitable for outdoor use on blacktop or cement. This fit the bill Only problem was that Amazon was twice the price as the TronX website. Next time I’ll check prices before buying.
