*****Be sure to look up the Jackson skate sizing chart online!!!***** These will not be the same size as your regular shoes. I’m normally a 7.5. The chart said I needed about a 5.5, but that’s not available on Amazon, so I got a 5. Luckily, they’re leather, so I can stretch them out. No biggie. The quality is fantastic. Lots of padding around the ankle. Something my old ice skates didn’t have, and I had the blisters to prove it. My only complaints are about the design of the frame. I really wish there was one more wheel on the back for stability, and the “toe pick” (or faux pick as I call it. Dad jokes. I’ll be here all week) is gigantic and gets in the way a little bit, but I’ll get used to it. Overall, I love them. ... show more

Bought them as a gift for my wife. They are great skates and look gorgeous. The boots are very supportive. Unfortunately I guessed wrong on the size and I have to see if I can trade them back for one size smaller. There was a review that suggested for a size 7.5, you should get a size 5.5 or 5. I'm a size 7. There was no way these can fit. And they are 100%, without a doubt, NOT stretchy. Thank you for making me wait another week for my right size to come in, I was super excited. They're beautiful.

I'm a beginner ice skater who's been skating for about 2 months. On ice, I can comfortably skate without needing the wall; fortunately, my ice skating skills transferred over to these perfectly. Despite having never roller nor inline skated before, I could skate with these without holding onto anything within 5 minutes of putting them on. They feel just like ice skating. Also, I wear the Jackson Excel boot when ice skating and the Mystique boots on these feel similar enough that they didn't negatively impact my transition. What's also awesome, is that now I can practice swizzles at home!! The only thing to keep in mind is that if your floor is angled any sort of way, these will respond and will roll in the direction of the tilt even if you're trying to stand still. These are responsive to any sort of angle (even ones you can't see). I hope to use these on a tennis court or in an outdoor basketball court so I have more space. For sizing: I'm a size 8 in regular shoes, a size 7 in ice skates, and when I ordered these, I ordered my ice skate size (7) because the boot is an ice skating boot. Fortunately, these skates matched my ice skating size and they fit exactly as my ice skates do: snug fit and just barely able to wiggle my toes. Because these are ice skating boots, you want to order a size down from your regular size, or whatever your ice skating size is. All in all, I'm glad I bought these.
