I picked up rollerblading again after 20 years of not skating. Some may say this is not a good idea to get back on the wheels in my 40’s but I was never good a following directions anyway. I love these skates because I am a large human at 6’2 270 and a size 13 shoe. I bought the size 12 and that is perfect. They fit great and look awesome. They send an Allen wrench but no shorter bolt for when you want to remove the break. I just took it to my local skate shop to get the bolt but I wish Rollerblade would have sent one. So I bought this to go skating with my family for both inside and outside. I had not been on a pair of blades in over 15 years however I skated alot back in the day. This pair is a solid pair for beginners and the brake is removable however one thing about Rollerblade is the rear axle will need to be replaced if you take off that break but it does not come in the box... however their website is very user friendly and they will send you the axle free of charge. Also the wheels seem to be a little soft for long term outside use so I recommend buying an 85A hardness wheel or harder for outdoor use. In terms of comfort, it reminds me of a snowboard boot. Its snug and slighting uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of use. If you are on the fence about a pair of blades and you want ones that won't break the bank... you won't be disappointed with the Pro XT's. ... show more

I used to have cheap skates in the 90s. Then made do with rentals. These skates are alot more comfortable and are really easy to put on/take off. I'm sure there are more impressive skates for speed or more technical skaters. But for a casual/beginner skater. They are great.

Just put these on after no blading for 25 years and they are riding like a dream! Fit is excellent. I was worried my foot would be too wide, since I normally wear a 13-wide, but they fit perfectly. I like the vibrant red and black appearance too.

I have had these a few months and I love them. They are super comfortable and stylish, and easy to ride. I have trouble using the rubber stopper though this could just be me. But put me on a hill in these and I am done for.
