The black color was out of stock when I purchased this calendar, so I opted for a green one this year. This style of planner fits my needs best - I like having the week at-a-glance on one side and a page for notes on the other side. The small pocket-size planner is easy to throw in my bag and isn’t overly heavy, but it is also sturdy enough that it’s not going to get mangled in my bag, even though it’s a softcover not hardcover. I've been using these planners for over ten years now, and they have become an essential for me. The organization of the weekly planner is perfect, with a space for each day but a blank ruled page opposite for additional information. The quality of the paper is also great, and handles all kinds of ink beautifully, as is the overall quality of the cover, the binding, everything, and it just feels so good in the hand. I know there are people who survive on their phones alone (until the battery dies), and I rely heavily on my phone, too, but sometimes it is just so much better and easier to have things laid out in front of you in one place, with space to scribble in extra bits of information quickly and easily. This is year 3 for this little pocket brain. Moleskine has nice smooth paper. It takes gel pen like a champ with no bleed or shadowing. Some ink works better than others for bleed. It’s convenient and fits in a pocket or bag easily. I keep my planners so paying a little more for something I know will last is absolutely worth the price. ... show more
