  • Good optic for a really good price.
Style: C5
This optic is not a large scope so it takes up very little real estate. I mounted it on a .300blk 10.5" upper. Extremely clear view. Have not zeroed it in, yet. The cantilever mount is solid, all aluminum construction. Seems a really good deal for the price. *Update* I zeroed it two evenings ago. It zeroed at 30yds easily and was cloverleafing points of impact consistently. I'm impressed by this optic and that's not easy to do. ... show more

  • Great price for quality of scope
Style: C2
A good price for the quality of scope. Glass is very clear especially during the day time. Sighted in at 100 yards.

  • Unbeatable for the price held zero with recoil and knocking it around
Style: C5
Held zero after 200rds on 9mm through ar9 direct blow back. Sight picture is amazing and magnification is clean while dialing, no jitter. Brightness is great and eye relief once set properly is amazing. I can't believe the product for the price. I have a red dot from Triton and I love it (on a 9mm also) ... show more

  • Not the quality of 1-4, but great for a 22.
Style: C2
Good little scope for my takedown charger. The 1-4 is a Far more robust scope and better built. I own both Tritons. The magnification is certainly higher and the 4x on the 1-4 navigator is equal to this 1-6 at 4.75. The eye relief on both is fantastic. The 1-4 turrets adjust poi as stated and the "teeth" underneath the turrets are clean and clear, solid. Holds up great on 556. This 1-6 has no "gears" underneath the turrets and the "teeth" under the turret simply dig into soft plastic (attached to the adjustment screws inside the scope tube) when tightened down with the allen screw. The poi adjustments are not predictable on the 1-6 and I seriously doubt it will hold up to high or frequent recoil. Zeroing even in a vise required far too many match rounds... it wasn't the firearm, ammo, or me... moving R/L affects U/D so it's a balancing act. It speaks to the scope's internals and I am not getting into that. Cannot attest to recoil durability, but I am an avid "smith on the side" and the 1-4 is an absolute Bargain (has been Used) for a short rifle. The 1-6 is what I expect for $80, a 22 scope zeroed for tree tops that absolutely will not have the turrets moved unless it gets seriously dropped etc. The 1-6 does have Much smoother turret caps compared to the extremely aggressive 1-4 caps. i.e. the 1-6 is Much nicer to carry when on a sling. The glass on both is that of low end Vortex, but extremely good for a super budget optic brand. Great sfp compact tree rat optic for .22. Only lpvo that is shorter is the NX8 1-8 and total overkill, though almost as mind blowing as the cost. ... show more

  • Good value for the price
Style: C5
Arrived undamaged, great scope out of the box, I like that it's second focal plane and the reticle can be used with or without the illumination. The offset mount attaches to a picatinny rail securely. Make sure to read the directions because the base and rings have different torque specs.

  • Big surprise
Style: C1
This scope surprised on how clear and easy it was to sight in just a few rounds and bingo. I have more expensive ones that isn’t as clear as this it works great on my 8.6 blackout . THANK YOU

  • ompact, Sharp & Versatile — Outstanding Shorty LPVO Scope
Style: C5
I have been using the Triton Ronin 1-6x20 SFP “Shorty” LPVO for a while on one of my rifles, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with how well it performs for a compact optic. It offers a nice balance between size, clarity, and flexibility — ideal for users who want a lightweight LPVO without sacrificing performance. Optical Clarity & Sight Picture: The glass clarity is better than expected for a compact LPVO. At 1x magnification, the sight picture feels natural and “true” — great for rapid target acquisition and both-eyes-open shooting. As you dial up toward 6x, the image stays bright and crisp, with no noticeable chromatic aberration or edge distortion, which I’ve encountered with other short scopes. Reticle & SFP Performance: The second focal plane reticle is clean, uncluttered, and easy to pick up quickly. Whether you’re at 1x or 6x, the reticle remains the same size, which keeps the sight picture consistent and predictable. The simplicity of the reticle helps maintain focus on the target. The illumination (if included) offers enough brightness for dawn/dusk or low-light scenarios, and lower brightness settings avoid glare or blooming — ideal for tactical use or variable light conditions. Build Quality & Ergonomics: The “Shorty” form factor is a major plus — it keeps the optic compact and lightweight, which is especially helpful on shorter-barrel rifles or carbines where a full-size LPVO may feel bulky or front-heavy. The body feels solid and well-machined; the turrets have positive, crisp clicks, and zeroing adjustments are consistent and reliable. Eye relief is generous, and the eyebox remains forgiving even when your head position shifts slightly — great when switching between magnifications quickly. Practical Use & Versatility: In close-quarters or short-to-medium range engagements, the 1x setting is fast, intuitive, and very stable. At 6x, the boost in magnification allows for precision at intermediate distances without needing a separate scope. Whether I’m running, shooting from shoulders or benches, or transitioning between targets, the Ronin remains versatile and reliable. It strikes a sweet spot for general-purpose rifles and mid-range builds. Value: Considering its features — compact design, clear optics, easy-to-use reticle, and solid construction — this scope gives you excellent bang for your buck. It performs closer to scopes at higher price brackets and is a good option if you want a capable LPVO without paying premium prices. Final Thoughts: If you're looking for a compact, lightweight LPVO that balances speed and precision, the Triton Ronin 1-6x20 Shorty is a top-tier option for its category. Whether you’re running a carbine, general-purpose rifle, or want an optic that doesn’t weigh you down, this scope delivers performance, clarity, and versatility at a reasonable price. ... show more
