1996 Ram 2500 5.9 12v, built auto, 4k gov springs, guages, 60# valvesprings, ARP 625s, AFC tuning, no fuel plate, 4inch straight exhaust, stock turbo and injectors. Made sure I had all necessary supporting mods installed before installing this device to bring HX35 to 30-35 psi. Turbo pressure will peak 5-8 psi higher initially before dropping to your ideal set condition. There is about a 1.5-2.5 second lag post peak pressure before steady state is achieved. 1/2 turns of the Allen adjuster was too much resolution in my case so 1/4 turns were more appropriate for my dial in. Have 3,000 miles and the adjuster screw is still secured at set point. ... show more

I noticed a small amount of power increase around 3000 RPM. I haven't tow with the truck yet to see if I can tell a difference in tow end torque.

    • Fit good, does the job
Does what it’s supposed to do. Use Teflon tape, and on the set screw use Teflon tape if you plan to adjust it, or loctite if you plan on setting and forgetting. If you use nothing it will rattle loose.

Takes about 10 mins to install, went from 19-22psi to 30-32psi. Egts are about 150-200 cooler now as well

Wooow this little elbow really works on my 2003 cummins...i previously had the intake exhaust and tuner smarty jr on 100hp... truck was runing fine but now with this elbow truck runs a loooooot better... before the turbo only hit 22 psi .. now i turned up to 32psi.. its a big difference.. i 100% recomend this product... ... show more

Trying to find quick hp gains for my 24 valve dodge Cummins and picked this up and was able to achieve 43 hp more on the dyno . Better mpg and better turbo spool when pulling a load . Great investment . Mine has already paid itself off with the fuel it has saved me
