The Triple 8 Sweatsaver Halo Water Helmet for Wakeboarding and Waterskiing combines the style and comfort of a classic skate helmet with a Sweatsaver Halo Liner developed exclusively for water. Perfect for wakeboarding, waterskiing, inner-tubing, and other water sports, the helmet features dual- density, closed-cell EVA foam for protection, inside an outer shell that is molded from a high-density ABS thermoplastic polymer. Comfort and wearability are guaranteed by the super-comfy stink-free Sweatsaver Halo Water Liner, made of three foam layers wrapped in plush fabric that wicks moisture away from the face. Hook and loop tape makes the Sweatsaver Halo liner easy to remove for washing. Triple Eight Sweatsaver Halo Water Helmets are available in six sizes to fit kids, youth, and adults: X-Small fits 20.1โ€“20.5 in (51โ€“52 cm), Small fits 20.6โ€“21.3 in (52โ€“54 cm), Medium fits 21.4โ€“22 in (54โ€“56 cm), Large fits 22.1โ€“22.9 in (56โ€“58cm), X-Large fits 23โ€“24 in (58โ€“61 cm), XX-Large fits 23.5โ€“24.5 in (60โ€“62 cm). I purchased and tried on 5-6 different water helmets last year and chose this helmet over all of them because it was the lightest and most comfortable, while still providing great protection. I actually own 3 of them and have surfed hundreds of waves where I live here in San Clemente, Ca. wearing them. I've been hit by my own Glass boards and by other surfer's boards many times without injury thanks to my Triple Eight helmets. 3 days ago I wiped out on a 6 foot wave and as soon as I came up out of the water after the initial hold down, my 9 ft. 9 inch Long Board, which had become air born (about 2-3ft), hit me dead center on the top of my Triple Eight helmet. I felt the impact, but didn't incure any head injury whatsoever! It's a fact that surfing has grown 30-40% world wide over the last few years, which equates to more surfing related injuries. If I hadn't been wearing my Triple Eight helmet a few days ago, I could have easily been knocked out and drown. I've been using this helmet for a couple months now kite foiling and really like it. It fits very comfortably and does not drag in the water when I crash and pull on my neck the way my old one used to. The pads are thick for comfort so the only complaint I could possibly have is that they retain the decent amount of water so when you take it off between sessions and go to put it back on water squeezes out and runs down your face. The helmet is light and comfortable. I have size 58, ordered size L (56-58) and it fits tight. The foam inside of the helmet is very soft, absorbs water like a sponge.

Looks really good however the plastic cover it is pretty thin and flexible. I was expecting something much harder. I don't really know how much of protection will offer in case of a hard hit. I hope I will never find out but if I will buy another helmet I will try different brand next time.
