I was very skeptical at first especially at the price tag that it has but so far it has been worth it. I have used other additives in the past like Lucas products, Seafoam, and other fuel/oil additives. Most of the time I never really saw anything and just "hoped" that it was doing something internally that I couldn't see. I used the small engine TriboTex on a 2005 Honda Civic 1.7 Auto with 230,830 miles on it. I took the car on vacation which ended up being about 750 miles one way so it more than cleared the 500 mile "break-in-period". The first thing that I noticed was that the engine was quieter. Prior to the additive the Honda had a somewhat noticeable "Honda valve tick" but after the first 50 miles the tick seemed to vanish. As far as power, it may seem a little a little quicker but I think it smoothed out the powerband more than anything. It may just feel more powerful because the engine is running so smoothly. These cars don't have much power to begin with, lol. Those were all the subjective results that I could really notice. The real change was the fuel efficiency! We've had this car for a couple of years and have also taken on other road trips, most recently one that was closer to 900 miles one way. We averaged about 32-33 mpg on that road trip with a full car. On this most recent road trip I was consistently seeing ranges of 36.5-38.5mpg. This was the most eye opening to me as I was thinking it may give me 1-2 mpg better but it outperformed what I had originally thought. So, is the cost worth it??? I took my my mpg savings and based it on TriboTex's longevity of 40,000 miles minus the cost of the product and in the end I will hopefully be saving a little over $300 on gas for the life of the product. I didn't take into account the product wearing down slowly so it may be a little less but if I consistently see those mpg's savings then I should be golden! I will add that I did buy another one of these for my 97 Camry with ~210,000 miles but on the manufactures website. I was able to save 10% after I spun the wheel! Shipping was slower than Amazon's but I saved!

It workss miracles. The best thing for your spring lriding lawn mover tune up. Remove old oil change new one and add TriboTEX and thatn enjoy smoothness of the ride and easy starts. I am a big fan of TriboTEX original as well as diesel but this little brother definite;y delivers better efficiency and longevity to smaller engines. I was early backer to their Kickstarter campaign where i wanted to try "NASA backed technology" as well as religious user of all different chemical tune ups for vehicles and this is the best that is out there with clear results, unique technology backed by solid research and advanced science. Yes you can read MSDS and listen to their podcast to know more but you have to take in mind that magic is in two sided nanoparticles that need to be safely delivered to your machine. So they are doing it in gel that limits rate of them going into oil and applying to the surface one by one. Brilliant idea! I read other reviews and it seems that some pissed people leave no details to make any of they claims beleivable. Is it difficult to tell your story? Or mention make year or mileage of a vehicle? Some just advertise compatitor products is it bad taste or those are competitors affiliates? Many great reviews online with details of performance compression measurements and videos of before and after.

Was having trouble with loss of power and some kind of oil leak that not even my mechanic who specializes in BMW was able to find or understand. The final verdict from my mechanic was I need to get a new engine, so before spending 4k plus, I decided to spend $100 first, I bought this hoping bad praying that it wasn't snake oil, I used the syringe and poured into the engine and waited over night, I drove it on the highway the following day and completely noticed a major difference, it finally had some kind of pick up while getting on to the highway. Now this was the first day of driving. It became better more and more as days passed and the more I drove the better it felt. Here I am on month two and I can say that the oil leak is gone and the oil consumption is much less than ever before. I have almost 200k miles and she has been driving the best in years. Also MPG is great, I'm getting 22 mpg highway which is excellent for this SUV especially with this amount of miles on it. Also, the lifters were making that horrible ticking sound, and this completely eliminated that. Five months later The SUV has been runing smoother, quieter, gas mileage is amazing still. I highly recommend this especially for cars or SUVs with high mileage.

after my feedback of not being able to observe a difference after applying the product (which could have been related to my vehicle’s problem of burning oil, rather than the effects of the product), the manufacturer offered a full refund (without my asking) -a nice gesture which was much appreciated, indicating their full commitment in backing up their products.
