It was kinda weird assembling this piece of furniture because I had assembled previous furniture upside-down, which made it easy to see the screw-in points, but the manual for this C-desk was reversed in that I was assembling it from the base to the top instead of the other way around. This manual made it really difficult to put the pieces together because I couldn't see all of the connection points and had to feel around until I found them. Because I loved the sturdiness and the grey design (it has a blend of other warm subtle colors in it - it's not just plain-old grey), I persevered because I wanted to see this C-desk fully assembled. I think it would have taken less time to assemble if the manual showed how to build the desk starting from the desktop and then on up to the base instead of vice-versa. It would have been easier to see the connections and screw alignments that way. But, I was so not going to read the manual in reverse because I thought that they maybe had a reason for me to do it from the base up. I had an issue with one component of this product that, when I had to take a screenshot of it and send it to the manufacturer, was addressed quickly and I was given a small but welcome discount/refund when I brought it to their attention. It wasn't a defect (my package arrived in perfect condition), it was just a change in suppliers for that component; the image on Amazon shows TWO outlets, but I received it with only one. After time-stakingly putting this C-desk together, and keeping in touch with the manufacturer over my issue and having them remedy it almost immediately, I have to say that this C-desk is EVERYTHING that I wanted it to be; it serves my purposes perfectly! It really helped my peace of mind that the manufacturers were accessible to address my concerns; so it made all of my hard work (and sore fingers) worth it. I was informed that they will take a look at the images on Amazon to ensure that there will be proper pics. If I had the space in my small space, I'd buy this item again, for maybe another purpose. The customer service care is very patient, thoughtful, and proactive. This C-desk is really sturdy (as long as you remember to tighten those clamps after adjusting its height) and beautiful to look at, especially when the sun is setting - it accentuates all of the subtle colors blended with the grey. This thing is awesome. I use it for when I get sick, for my books, and for when anyone comes to visit! It’s perfect because it’s adjustable so it can be over a bed or couch!!!!! Pics show it in use while I am sick. Snacks on the bottom tray, extra Kleenex, cold meds, you name it! Gloriously built.

    • What took me so long to find this? It's perfect!

I have been trying to find something like this for years! I have spent several hundred dollars trying to find something compatible with this, but they never quite meet my expectations. THIS is definitely worth every penny I spent, and then some! I'm disabled, so I need something to keep my laptop on, as well as a few other things. Currently, I have to use a small table that is similar to this rolling desk/table, but it doesn't have a drawer and it's about 1/4 the size of this one. However, at the time that I was looking, I could not find anything like this desk, or I would have jumped all over it! While assembling this, I had a problem with one of my wheels. The seller was quick to respond and was extremely concerned with my total satisfaction. Prior to my disability, I was a college professor who taught math and online business courses. I can honestly say that 99% of all vendors will either ignore the customer, sweep the problem under the rug, blame the problem on the customer, or require the customer to return the product for exchange, while also charging the customer for shipping. This vendor falls squarely within the 1% that goes above and beyond to help their customers and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied before closing a case. Based on my experience, if you have a problem with your order, then please send a message to the vendor before you attempt to send this item back because you will truly regret not keeping this rolling desk/table. ... show more

    • Stylish looking, but…

Ok. So this is well made and stylish looking. But…the wheels dont move as easily as they should and Im usually pulling it across the floor while the wheels are in another direction. The height adjustment can go down low or very high for standing. Im 5,1 and its s good height for me. Its not easy to hold up while turning the handles to look the height into place. But the desk is wide enough for my 15inch lap top, the lap top riser, a cup of coffee, ink pens and a note pad. The attached outlet is the best and convenient. I would say in order for the desk to be comfortable you need the right chair with a height adjuster for comfort. The little shelf on the side is perfect for extra space. But the pull out shelf isnt very functional because it doesnt pull out far enough to reach the top row of other my key board. So I am stuck only using my lap top here, which isnt ideal. The desk is well made and feels sturdy. Taking away 2 stars for the poor wheel movement and low functioning pull out shelf. ... show more
