I ordered the 70 x 35-inch desk model because I use a 48-inch TV as a computer monitor, and I needed a desk with a little extra depth to prevent eye strain. The order came in a day earlier than expected. It came in a fairly heavy box. I probably could have moved it myself to the place it was being set up, but I was taking every precaution to prevent damage to the desk, so I opted to have someone help me move it from the front door to the spot where I would assemble it. For reference, I am a 6-foot-tall man. Once opened, the parts were easily handled and put together by myself. The box came in looking quite beat-up and ripped in a couple different places, so I was initially worried about the desk having damage. Fortunately, after opening the package and organizing all the pieces and parts, nothing was broken, damaged or scratched. The package was carefully padded with lot of styrofoam, and the various nuts and bolts were neatly packed in small plastic baggies with labels. The baggies were extremely flimsy and one of them had already been torn open, and I read reviews previously that stated a lot of the parts were strewn about the box when they received their desk, so I was fortunate that all the pieces were still together despite the bag having a rip. I managed to put the desk together in about four hours, taking a lot of breaks and working very slowly and carefully. I followed the directions exactly, and despite other reviewers writing that the gaps between the wood pieces was fairly large, I didn't have any trouble fitting them together and the gaps between the pieces are minimal. I docked one star because after have the desk almost entirely assembled, I realized that it was missing a screw for one of the legs and I had an extra screw for a part of the assembly that I had already completed. Fortunately, this desk has multiple points of attachment for almost every piece, so the one screw did not affect the sturdiness of the table, but I'll still need to go to the hardware store eventually to find another similar-sized screw to fully complete the installation. See the second picture for more detail. The desk, once assembled, is quite beautiful and has plenty of space for computer peripherals, papers, office accessories, etc. It also has rubber feet that you can adjust if your floor is a bit uneven and the desk doesn't sit perfectly level. My desk sat perfectly level without any adjust to the feet, but it's a good feature to have just in case. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. I don't think there are a lot of higher-quality desk options that are in this price range. It is a huge upgrade from my previous desk, which was half the size, very wobbly and not nearly as attractive. I would have given five stars, if not for that missing screw.

This is for the Tribesigns Computer Desk, Walnut top with Black Legs, 63 X 23.6 inch. I just assembled it last night, and wanted to leave a review because it's so nice. It was packed really well - organized, well protected with foam, end-caps on the top, etc. I was able to assemble it in about 45 minutes. taking my time to tighten everything evenly. I did mix up which screws (there are only 2 lengths) went where for a moment, so be sure to get that right. After assembling, I replaced what was essentially a card-table with this table. It's really sturdy, sits well on the floor, and the top surface is very nice. It's exactly what I was looking for, and I don't see any issues with it at all. I'd buy this again without hesitation if I needed a table for a similar purpose. Nice.

This 84-pound desk will require at least 2 people to handle and assemble. The instructions have very little textual detail, so pay very close attention to the diagrams. Also, no matter what you do, you will not get a perfect surface when done. There are 5 large, heavy pieces of wood to fit together into an exact pattern, but when you begin tightening the screws, it is inevitable that a gap will form between a couple of the pieces. Try to bring them back together and then continue tightening screws and other gaps will form. It would be very helpful if the instructions of Step 7, where you tighten all the screws from steps 3-6, would list the order that you should tighten the screws. This might make a difference, and then again it might not. Also, don't be surprised that you are searching for a bag of screws identified as 'G' in the instructions, but only to realize that the bag marked 'C' is the mislabeled screws that you need. I bought 2 of these desks and 1 desk had the washers from one of the bags spread throughout the box, rather than being contained in the bag they should have been in. So be careful when unpacking. Again, for this very large 79x39 executive desk, you absolutely MUST have at least 2 people to handle and assemble it. To compensate for an imperfect surface, I ordered a CENNBIE MAX200 78.7" x 39.4" Leather Desk Mat here on Amazon. This leather mat is absolutely perfect for these desks, even though it covers up the beauty of the wood surface. But, besides hiding the imperfect assembly, it also makes it possible to move equipment around on the surface without risking scratches. These mats are also good if you spill a little water, it makes mopping up a breeze. Two of these desks make a perfect home studio or work, hobby, and project play area.
