I absolutely love this desk. It is VERY heavy and sturdy and will be around many years as part of my home office. You will need a lot of room for it as it is quite large. First, I would like to say I do not usually leave reviews for products and this is a product review but more so a seller review as well. The desk is very solid and looks very nice for the price. Do not expect a mahogany executive desk set for the penthouse and you will be well pleased. It is very functional and very easy to put together. The shippers treated it like a rag doll yet the packaging was sufficient enough to protect it from any damage. Now, on to the real reason I am writing. I wrote with a question about only one package arriving and got a quick response from the seller and had the second tracking number in a few hours. I also sent pictures of the rough boxes and the seller said if there were any issues let them know and they would promptly fix the issue.     • Mislabeled parts on cabinet

The one star is not for the desk itself, it’s for the mislabeling of all of the parts for the cabinet. The desk went together nicely and all parts were included. I like it and it seems sturdy. The file cabinet that came in a separate box was a nightmare. At first I thought there were 5 missing pieces, but it turned out that all of the parts and hardware were mislabeled. Also, there were pieces included that weren’t in the manual or list of parts. It would appear that they changed the parts but didn’t send an updated manual. My brother (engineer type) was able to “wing” it and put it together, but most people would not have been able to. Now that it’s together, the cabinet itself is nice. Again, the one star isn’t for the desk and cabinet but for the mislabeling of parts and instruction manual. ... show more

Let me start by saying, I love this desk and the completed project. It's perfect for my space and what I needed to upgrade. With that being said, the assembly leaves a lot to be desired. There are NO words on the booklet. It took me almost 30 minutes to figure out how to disassemble the tracks for the drawers to get them on their respective parts. Personally, these should ship on the drawers/walls already to make it easier. The steps in the booklet are completely out of order. Do yourself a favor and skip ahead and assemble each drawer, etc individually to make sure you're properly aligned before you get ahead and realize you flubbed step 2 and need to go back. Don't do the way they do it. But also be mindful you may need to adjust the tracks again. My top drawer was crooked so I had to remove it, adjust the track down and fit it in. It can be tricky to get all the parts to align. That said, this mom did the whole thing alone. The cabinet took longer than the desk, for sure. My one drawer is slightly off but it closes and you can't tell unless you're looking for it. Its pretty good quality for the money. Very sleek design. Shipping was great-does come in 2 boxes that may not arrive together! Would recommend but just be prepared to put in some elbow grease. And the tracks pull apart - if that saves anyone time and mental head slapping 🤣🤣 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Nice desks, have a shelf at bottom that you can use for anything. I use it for internet equipment and to hide wires. The material looks nice and feels nice but isnt real wood so there’s that. assembly is easy(at least for me who has all the tools).

This desk and cabinet set is great! I needed a big desk to paint watercolors on and storage for all my supplies. This is perfect. The ledge underneath the desktop fits my art organizers and so does the space under the cabinet top. It was fairly straightforward assembly and organized well- they even give you a full-size screwdriver in each box. But the two boxes it arrives in are super heavy since it’s solid wood and metal. We had to drag the boxes inside and take pieces up two at a time and my husband had to wrestle the tabletop piece upstairs. Aside from that, it’s a perfect set. Okay first off, I did not read full description before buying and didn't realize it would be sent in 2 separate shipments. I received them only 1 day apart but there was only 1 tracking number for the first package so no way to track the 2nd one. But once I had both boxes there were no pieces missing. Nothing was damaged. This did take about 3.5 hours to put together myself but instructions were easy to follow. Just take your time. I love my new desk, and am super happy with it. ... show more

    • Awful. Misaligned screw holes and damaged pieces.
This set arrived with damaged pieces in both the desk and file cabinet—mostly cosmetic, but a sign of the shockingly poor quality I would find once I tried to assemble the desk (after completing the file cabinet). The screw holes in the desk are wildly misaligned, making it impossible to properly mount the boards to the desk frame. I can only do one side or the other—and that's after tremendous strain.
