The assembly instructions were amazingly easy to follow. I assembled it myself in about an hour. The instructions recommend 2 people, but I found it easy on my own. My office isn't complete yet, but I'm using the desk this morning and I have SO much usable workspace now! I appreciate the powder coat paint on the legs. Sturdy. The color is a harvest gold with a slight metal flake sparkle to it. The desk top is 4 separate pieces. The vox weighs more that 60 pounds, but because the desk comes in pieces, it was easy to carry everything upstairs and assemble it in place. After shopping a lot in stores, I'm very pleased with the price and quality of this desk. I recommend it. If you have reasonable expectations, i vet you'll be happy too. For less than $200, don't expect something you'd see in Oprah's house. ;-) ... show more

If you are considering this desk, I say buy it! For the cheap price, this is a solid desk. It is heavy, sturdy, and quite large for your working space. It stands pretty tall too and was easy to assemble! It is very sleek and beautiful to look at. However, there are some things that I would like to point out. While, not huge, this desk did come with several blemishes as I have provided pictures of. In my opinion, a brand new desk should not have dirt smudges or lightly ripped ends, but this one did. The condition does not seem brand new. Now, for me, these small blemishes are not a problem, but for others it might be. So, FYI. ... show more

I love this desk. It's definitely a statement piece in the office. The only hassle was the legs. They require a bit of manipulation to secure during the final steps of assembly. Other than that I'm very happy. Also, it's a higher working desk then the average.(update: I do, however, recomend an edge protector. The edges were really bothering my arms) ... show more
